General Information:Cookie is an approximately 4-year-old female Chihuahua who has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on her vaccinations. She arrived at the rescue facility at the end of August 2025 accompanied by one puppy, who has since been adopted. Origin and Arrival:Cookie was rescued from Southeast Colorado; we believe that she and her puppy were left outside without a lot of human interaction. Training and Behavior:She is kennel-trained and familiar with using a doggie door.  Although she has experienced a few accidents inside the house, with consistent supervision, it is expected that she will become reliably housetrained. Social Compatibility:Cookie generally gets along well with most dogs but exhibits some bossiness and jealousy, especially when attention is given to other dogs. Therefore, careful management of interactions with other pets is advisable. Ideal Home Environment:It is recommended that Cookie be placed in a household with older children who are knowledgeable about dog behavior and language, ensuring a harmonious and understanding environment suitable for her needs.
