Story
Fluffy is a sweet, loving dog with plenty of energy and an affectionate personality. Through no fault of his own, the past few years have been difficult. Due to changes in his living situation and his original owner’s declining health, he hasn’t received the consistent care and attention he deserves. Fluffy is looking for a patient, loving home where he can finally have stability, kindness, and the time to thrive. He would do best with someone who understands that he may need a little extra patience as he adjusts, but he has so much love to give in return.

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Nacho - Our Little Macho Man. Nacho is a 7lb. chihuahua with a huge personality! This little guy truly believes he is the Macho Man (even though he’s neutered). At 1 to 2 years old, Nacho was found as a stray and is now looking for a loving home where he can continue to blossom. Nacho can be a little fearful at first, but once he settles in, and you learn his adorable little quirks, you’ll discover what a special boy he really is. He absolutely loves other dogs and is incredibly playful, even with little puppies. He’s happiest when his furry friends are around him to play with. Nacho is also a serious foodie. He is quite the little gobbler so a slow feeder is a necessity. And of course, treats are definitely the way to his heart. When it comes to being picked up, Nacho just needs someone to take it slowly. He may get very squeaky when you scoop him up, but once he is in your arms, be prepared for a full face cleaning. Nacho is incredibly affectionate and loving. At bedtime, this little guy wants to be as close to to you as possible. He sleeps right next to his foster mom, often with his head resting on her shoulder, and he absolutely loves being under the covers. And if you dare move, you may hear a little growl! Don’t worry, it’s just Nacho being Nacho. There is no aggression behind it, and he has never bitten. He’ll simply make you laugh with his funny little personality. Nacho is working on his house training. He will use pee pads, but sometimes he has accidents. He does not like to walk on a leash. He is fearful outside of noises and cars going by. Nacho is truly a little ball of sunshine. He may need a little patience while he learns to trust you, but once he does, you’ll have a loving, playful, affectionate little companion who will keep you smiling every day. Nacho is ready to find his forever person, someone who will appreciate his big personality packed into his tiny 7 pound body. Since he does not walk on leash, we are requiring a secure fenced yard for him. Due to his small size, if the home has kids, they must be older and respectful. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Nacho, complete an app and tell us more about you.September 15, 2026, 3:39 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Blade — the bestest little dude! Blade is a 4-year-old, 18lb. possible Chihuahua/Schipperke mix who is an absolute sweetheart and is ready for the family he deserves. Blade was originally surrendered by his owner and sadly ended up in the shelter, where he spent two long months through absolutely no fault of his own. Despite everything, this little guy has remained an incredibly loving, happy boy. He is dog friendly, cat friendly, loves people. He can be a little timid when he first meets you, but give him about five minutes, a hot dog, and a little patience—and congratulations, you’ve officially made a best friend for life. Blade is great in the car, crate trained, doing great at learning to walk on leash, enjoys playing with toys, and is just an all-around incredible little dude. His house training is still a work in progress (and it's mostly marking), but in the mean time, he sports a belly band with pride. He loves running around in a fenced yard, so that would certainly be preferable for him. He is a medium-energy boy, loves his zoomies but also knows how to chill with the best of them. Whether you're looking for a buddy to join you on your next adventure or a sweet little companion who would happily curl up in a soft bed and enjoy the good life, Blade is ready for either. He’s been through enough waiting. Now he’s looking for his forever person—the one who will show him just how good life can be. And in return, Blade promises to be the very bestest boy. We are requiring an all-adult home for Blade. If you believe Blade could be your new best friend and you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area, complete an app and tell us more about you.September 15, 2026, 3:39 pm
