Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Mello.  This handsome boy looks as if he could be a possible mix of Pomeranian and chihuahua. It has alse been suggested that he could be a Tibetan Spaniel mix, and we certainly see the resemblance! Mello has beautiful soft fur, mostly red with a white chest and black accents. He has a big fluffy tail like a fox. He is approx. 4-5yo and weighs 12.9lbs.  Mello is the definition of sweetness and love. He loves snuggling and to be held.  He sleeps through the night on the human bed, cuddling up next to his person under the covers. His most favorite thing is presenting his belly for belly rubs. He is a tad bit shy at times, but gets along well with all dogs, cats and people. He is house trained, walks well on leash, rides great in the car, and just wants to be around his person. He is not destructive and has no separation anxiety.  He is in a home with senior dogs who don’t want to play with him, but he seems eager to play if they would oblige. Most of the time he is a chill little guy. He looks forward to his daily walks (where he does his business). When his people arrive back home from an outing, he greets them with so much joy. He loves being brushed and doesn’t mind a bath or trim. He needs to be brushed regularly to keep mats at bay. He is not a big barker, only chiming in when the others bark, or when he perceives danger. He loves meal and treat time and takes treats gently. It is so very easy to fall in love with this good boy. We are requiring a playful youngish dog friend as well as a fenced yard for Mello. He has not been around kids while in our rescue so if the home has kids, they must be older, calm and respectful due to his shyness. We are wanting someone for him who will be home more often than not, either a work from home situation, or recently retired but still active. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Mello, complete an app and tell us more about your family. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Meet The RANKS — Eight Husky-Mix Puppies Ready to Rally Your Heart &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143    These eight sweet pups arrived at Pet Rescue By Judy all the way from Alabama. They didn’t come with their mama and we don’t have her photos or full breed history, but everyone here thinks they’re husky mixes — with a likely smaller-breed parent, because these pups are smaller than a typical husky.  They are energetic, playful, and silly — perfect for an active person or an active family who wants to add a handful of joy (and a little zoom-room energy) to their home.  About the litter  This litter is lovingly called The Ranks because each puppy was named after a military rank.  Personality & ideal home  Energy level: Medium–high. These pups love playtime, puzzles, learning, and running. Best fit: An active individual or family — someone who will give walk-and-play time daily, start basic training, and provide consistent socialization. A fenced yard and access to outings (walks, hikes, supervised playtime) will make them happiest.   Important Information for New Puppy Parents   Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog, dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential.   We strongly recommend that the entire family participates in puppy training classes. This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the same commands and techniques, creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.   **Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families! Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 3, 2025, 11:43 am
