Story
We rescued Ozzie from the Maryland SPCA on August 27, 2025. Over the past three months, he has brought so much joy to our lives. We truly love and enjoy caring for him every day. Unfortunately, we will need to relocate abroad in the near future due to some unexpected family issues. We’re concerned about the stress that international travel would cause him, and our situation is not the most stable in the short term. For these reasons, we are looking for a loving forever home for Ozzie. Ozzie is a one-year-old, 12-lb Chihuahua mix (approximately 75% Chihuahua, 17% Shih Tzu — Embark DNA report available). He’s the perfect lap dog for a single-person household and will shower you with endless affection. Ozzie warms up quickly and loves to curl up beside you for naps or follow you from room to room. He’s happiest just being near his person. He’s well-adjusted to city living: friendly with house guests, calm on busy tolerant of noises outside, and loves walks and exploring the neighborhood

Story
Sailor is a sweetie pie! He is about 10 years old and about 10 pounds, maybe a little less. He is a fluff ball that likes to be brushed. He is a total sweetheart who is a wonderful companion! He enjoys sharing g the couch for TV time, wandering the yard, and will gladly share your bed too!! He is fine with other dogs, although if they are large and excitable, he does get nervous. Sailor tries to ignore the cats, but they do seem to frighten him a little. He is friendly and sweet and loves to be loved. He is active, can go down the stairs easily, but would rather be picked up to go upstairs. He likes to go for walks, and would probably love a stroller if you plan to go on more lengthy walks. He enjoys attention, is crate trained and with frequent outdoor breaks that are consistent and often, he is good about house training. He appears to be pure Pom but we do not have papers.
