Meet Nextel, affectionately known as Nexi, a sweet senior gentleman who believes life is best enjoyed under a cozy blanket and curled up next to his favorite people.In fact, if you can`t find him, don`t panic -just check the nearest blanket. This clever little guy has mastered the art of covering himself up and creating the perfect snuggle cave!Nexi is:?? Housebroken?? Crate trained ?? Leash trained but prefers to wander and explore in a fenced yard?? Lap trained (his favorite certification!)?? Great with other dogs?? A champion cuddler?? Not: cat or kid-testedNexi would also love a home where someone is around most of the time. He`s happiest with his people nearby and prefers not to be left alone for long periods. He knows a few basic commands, though he appreciates gentle encouragement and praise. After all, at 12 years old, he`s earned the right to move at his own adorable pace.Nexi does have a heart condition that is well managed with medication, and due to his age and medical needs, his veterinarian advised against neutering.What Nexi is really searching for is simple: a soft blanket, a warm lap, and a family who will cherish every cuddle and every sweet senior moment. If your home could use a little extra love - and a hidden dog under your throw blanket - Nexi may be the perfect match.If you’d like to take Nexi home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $150 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication. Some of our dogs have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they’re ready for a happy, healthy life with you!

Hi! I got TinkerBell in 2021 her birthday is May 9th! Sadly my mom is unwilling to take care of TinkerBell While I’m away at college, I’m an upcoming junior, I came home and weekends and breaks just to take care of her, even still my mom is no longer willing to take care of her while I’m away. I’ve came back with her cage not cleaned or food not filled a couple of time. She doesn’t like Dogs bigger than her, shes afraid of them abd will run and hide. Dogs similar to her size are fine and she’s comfortable with. She is car sick.

Peanut has a big dog personality and if he sees other dogs, he gets super excited, and the yipping sounds scary, but he just wants to play!! He's a nipper and he likes to jump on you out of excitement and although he LOVES kids, he should be in.a home with older kids Peanut is still young, and has plenty of energy to play and run.He has been known to be a runner- He will take off and think, it's a GAME and it will be hard to catch him, so careful at the doors nd fences ;) But smart sweet pup loves kisses and lay on your lap . He walks good on a leash i put 2 one on harness and collar since I don't want him to get loose. (harnesses are too easy to get out of, so a martingale collar is his best collar) He can upset a bigger or smaller dog if they don't have a tolerance for nippiness.In the face kinda of thing he loved to play and he runs super fast lol 😆 they would have to be extra careful that he never gets out of front.Door or takes off he laughing fast 😅 Poor little guy almost got run over on these big streets all alone, and we NEVER want that to happen to him again. So now you know more about the firecracker named Peanut. He is a doll!! ADOPT....DON'T SHOP!! Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
