Story
Hi my names ny! Over a year ago i took in a medium sized dog named Dakota for a family friend. What supposed to be short term ended up being long term lol. Dakota is a medium sized yorkie / pom who’s primarily black ( with a white and gray beard and belly.) Hes great with kids and other animals, and very territorial if he creates a bond with you. he is very loving , playful and enjoys walks. However he can be a bit of a handful due to slight behavioral problems. He has an attachment issue, he freaks out if he isleft unattended and if left in a cage he will ABSOLUTELY attempt to find a way to escape. It is unclear if his previous owners properly house trained him, so I was having issues with him randomly using the bathroom in house. With school and work there is just not enough time in my day to fully give him the attention he needs , which is why i want him to go to a good home.

She’s a sweet old lady, very cuddly. Unfortunately not able to take care of her due to my needs, not necessarily hers. She still has a lot of kick, I wouldn’t say she acts like a senior except for the naps. Ha ha

Story
Meet Lobo — a little wolf who will sing with you. Lobo’s name means wolf, and he takes it just seriously enough to howl back if you start the chorus. At 6 years old and about 12 pounds, this Pomeranian mix is more cozy companion than alpha — but his loyalty and gentle nature are very wolf-like. Lobo is a timid but incredibly sweet boy who does best in calm environments and with patient people. He can be shy at first, but once he feels safe, his quiet affection shines. He is house trained, dog friendly, and great on a leash. Lobo truly enjoys going for walks, where he can take in the world at his own pace. While he does well around other dogs, he’s perfectly capable of being the only dog in the home and doesn’t rely on canine companionship to feel secure. Lobo can become anxious when left alone, so he would thrive in a home where someone is around often, works from home, or keeps a predictable routine. Because of his age and sensitive nature, he would do best in a quiet home without small children, where life is gentle and unhurried. ADOPTION PROCESS 1. With her adorable little size, she’s the perfect fit for just about any household—apartments, houses, or anywhere with a couch and a human willing to share it. This petite cutie is full of charm and wants nothing more than to be with you, in your lap if possible.  She is getting along fine with the others all dogs and the cat in her foster home, but what she really cares about is people. Churro doesn’t need much—just love, cuddles, and someone who will never make her wonder where she’s sleeping next.     If you’re looking for a small dog with a huge heart and a face that’s impossible to say no to, Churro might just be the one for you!  Apply today! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Seriously—his sweet, happy smile is his superpower. He is energetic and affectionate and just generally a fun dog to be around.  He's  good with kids and other dogs, thinks it's fun to chase the family cat but doesn't mean anything by it and stops when told to.  Currently, he’s hanging out in a foster home, learning all about the good life, but what he really wants is a forever home where his smile can be appreciated every single day. This charming boy is ready to trade foster pup status for beloved family member. Imagine coming home after a long day and being greeted by Dominick’s happy face—it’s basically instant stress relief.     If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a daily mood booster, and a pup who’s eager to share his love (and that irresistible smile), Dominick might just be your perfect match.  Apply today!
