Story
Billy is a 3-month-old, 7-pound bundle of sweetness who is ready to find his forever family! This adorable rescue pup may be small, but his heart is mighty. He looks like his mother, who is 20lbs, but his father is unknown. Our best guess is that he is a Chihuahua/Terrier mix.
Billy is wonderful with other dogs and has been incredibly respectful of the senior dog in his foster home. He’s also good with dog-savvy children who understand how to gently interact with a young puppy. For such a little guy, he has great social manners!
Like any puppy his age, Billy will need a puppy-proofed home. He’s curious and still learning that not everything is his personal chew toy — but he’s catching on quickly! He’s currently learning to walk on a leash and is making steady progress. Puppy classes would be a fantastic way to help him build confidence, continue learning good manners, and bond with his new family. As he is still young, he will need to be let outside to relieve himself every few hours, so he would not be suitable for someone who is out of the house for long hours.
Billy is doing great with crate training. He may protest with about 10 minutes of crying before settling in, but once he does, he sleeps soundly through the night like a champ. He’s also a world-class cuddle bug — his favorite place to nap is right in your lap. Be prepared for a tiny shadow following you from room to room because Billy loves being near his people.
He would thrive in a home that understands puppies take time, patience, and consistency. There will be chewed toys, learning curves, and lots of supervision — but in return, you’ll get a lifetime of loyalty, laughter, and unconditional love.
If you’re ready to put in the work and reap the incredible rewards, Billy is ready to be your best little buddy.
