Pimpi | Male | 22 lbs | 5 years old | Chihuahua mix | Condo-friendly! Showing that resilience and strength can come in the tiniest (and fluffiest!) packages, Pimpi has survived a lot to get here. He suffered from distemper when living in a shelter, but has now fully recovered with only a small and harmless tic that does not hold him back in any way and is often barely noticeable. Pimpi is healthy, adorable, friendly, and ready to go home! Here are just a couple of qualities that make Pimpi an amazing companion: --He's medium energy: This means he's playful and loves to walk, but he's happy to chill and let you work or relax when play time is done. --He's VERY friendly with other people: He believes strangers are just friends he hasn't met yet. He hasn't had much kid exposure but would likely be fine with them. --He likes other dogs: He's friendly with them but not overly enthused. In short, Pimpi plays it cool and isn't thirsty. He's not gonna drag you across the street to meet every retriever and shepherd he sees. --He loves to play fetch: (Fun) --Walks well on leash: Minimal pulling --Fully house trained: Huge news for your carpets --No separation anxiety, and no resource guarding: Low-Maintenance king --He's small and so adorable. Meet Otte   Age: Approx. 8 years old Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Pomeranian Color: Tan Weight: 6 kg (13 lbs)   Rescue Story   Otte was found abandoned at a garbage site in heartbreaking condition, unable to properly use his hind legs due to serious injuries to both legs.   After being rescued, he underwent surgery followed by rehabilitation and has made an amazing recovery. He is now enjoying everyday life and is ready to find his forever family.   Despite everything he has been through, Otte is an affectionate little cuddle bug who loves people, attention, and treats!   ‍‍‍ Social with People   Otte enjoys affection and being close to his people. He can be picked up and carried, and once he feels comfortable with someone, he will even roll over and show his belly.   Otte does have some clear boundaries when it comes to handling. Because of his previous injuries and surgeries, he is particularly sensitive around his hind legs, hips, and tail. He may growl or attempt to nip if his legs are restrained or handled in a way that makes him uncomfortable, especially during things like nail trimming.   He may also occasionally decide he has had enough after being petted for a while and give a warning—only to come back shortly afterward asking to be petted again!   Otte needs someone who will pay attention to his body language and respect his boundaries rather than forcing interaction when he is uncomfortable.   With unfamiliar people, he may initially be hesitant to go for a walk, but usually becomes much more comfortable once he has had a little time to get to know them.   Social with Dogs   Otte is generally friendly with other dogs. He will approach unfamiliar dogs to say hello, although he usually isn’t particularly interested in playing with them.   He does well with dogs of different sizes, including dogs that are larger, similar in size, or smaller than him. Very high-energy dogs can be a little overwhelming for him, so a calmer canine companion would likely be a better match.   If another dog becomes confrontational, Otte generally prefers to avoid conflict rather than engage.   Cats   On walks, Otte does not show much interest in cats and tends to remain focused on his person.   Energy & Walks   Otte has a moderate energy level. He enjoys walks and outdoor activities but is also happy to relax afterward.   Although he has a significant orthopedic history, he has recovered well following surgery and rehabilitation and is able to enjoy his normal daily activities.   At Home   Otte is very food-motivated and loves his treats. He does not guard food from people.   He isn’t a fan of wearing clothes and may also be uncomfortable when a harness is being put on, so gentle and patient handling is important. He does, however, do well with brushing.   He has plenty of classic Pomeranian personality—affectionate, expressive, confident, and very clear about what he likes and doesn’t like!   Medical History   Otte has a history of significant injuries involving both hind legs. He underwent surgery in March 2026, followed by rehabilitation, and has recovered well. He is currently able to enjoy his normal daily activities.   Because of his previous injuries and surgeries, he can be sensitive to handling around his hind legs, hips, and tail, so gentle handling and respect for his boundaries are important.   Otte’s coat were shaved for his surgery and have been slow to grow back. He has been evaluated by a veterinarian, but at this point it is unclear whether his coat will fully grow back over time.   Ideal Home   Otte would do best with someone who appreciates the personality of a Pomeranian and understands that an affectionate dog can still have boundaries.   Previous experience with Pomeranians or similarly confident small dogs would be a plus. Most importantly, his adopter should be willing to read his body language, respect his signals, and use gentle handling—particularly around his hind legs.   After everything Otte has been through, he remains a loving little dog who wants to be close to his people.   Otte is looking for someone who will love his cuddly side, respect his boundaries, and appreciate his sassy little Pomeranian personality. QUICK FACTS Name: Eeyu Age: 4 years old (Born April 2022) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Chihuahua/Jindo mix Color: Light Brown Weight:  5.8kg / 12.8lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from an animal hoarding situation where I was living alongside many other animals without the individual care and attention every dog deserves. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in and brought me to safety, giving me the chance to leave that difficult environment behind. Now I’m ready for a fresh start and a forever family where I can finally experience what it means to be truly loved, cared for, and cherished as part of the family.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date I had a history of seizures from April to August 2023 and was treated with oral medication. Since I remained healthy and symptom-free, the medication was discontinued. In November 2025, I experienced one seizure lasting less than five minutes. Thankfully, I have not experienced any additional seizures or related symptoms since then.   MY PERSONALITY I’m super cute and even tinier in person! I can be a little shy when we first meet and may try to keep my distance while I figure out whether I’m safe. Gentle approaches and letting me move at my own pace are the best ways to earn my trust, and tasty treats definitely help! The good news is that I warm up pretty quickly. Give me about 30 minutes, some patience, and a few yummy treats, and I’ll start coming to you for pets and affection. During my profile photoshoot, I did so well and, once I felt comfortable, I kept rubbing my little body against everyone asking for more pets!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a little shy when we first meet and need some time to feel safe and comfortable. Tasty treats are definitely the way to my heart, and with a little patience, I usually warm up pretty quickly! I know I’m super tiny and cute, so it can be hard to resist picking me up right away, but sudden approaches can make me nervous. Let me get to know and trust you first, and once I feel safe, you’ll get to see my sweet and affectionate side. · With Dogs: I’m friendly with my dog friends and get along especially well with dogs who have a similar energy level. I also do well sharing my space with the other dogs at the care facility. While I’m friendly, I’m not afraid to stand my ground if another dog is being pushy or rude. Thoughtful introductions and some supervision in the beginning will help everyone get comfortable and set us up for a happy relationship. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a high energy level and love spending time outdoors, exploring, and staying active! Once I’ve had enough exercise and excitement, I’m also happy to head indoors and relax comfortably. In new environments, I may pace around as I take everything in and can sometimes have a hard time staying focused because I’m eager to keep moving and exploring. With time, a consistent routine, and plenty of appropriate outlets for my energy, I should become more comfortable settling into my surroundings.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk nicely on leash and follow my handler’s lead well. I also have good manners around food and don’t guard my meals or treats from either people or other dogs. I know how to settle calmly in my kennel and can get in and out of the car on my own. I may shake a little during car rides because I’m still getting used to them, but overall I stay calm. With more positive exposure and practice, I should become more comfortable travelling in the car. For potty habits, I currently go both indoors using pee pads and outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding of my shy nature and willing to be patient while I come out of my shell   SPECIAL NOTES I may be tiny, but I have a big personality packed into my little body! I’m an energetic, curious girl who loves exploring and staying busy, and once I feel comfortable, my sweet and affectionate side quickly comes out. I can be shy when we first meet, so the best way to win me over is with patience, gentle approaches, and of course, some tasty treats.
