Story
Pip | Male | 8 years young | 12 lbs| Condo-friendly| Dog-friendly Do you believe that good boys come in small packages? Do you love the look of a chihuahua but fear the 'tude? Do you long for a calm, easy breezy dog with a low to medium energy level? Do you want a dog who enjoys both togetherness and a little bit of "me time"? Look no further because Pip is your boy. This guy appreciates the finer things in life, namely cuddling and food. He loves his people and is also happy and friendly to expand his social circle with new friends and acquaintances. He's absolutely adorable and everyone who meets him sings his praises! His favourite thing to do is snuggle. He walks beautifully on leash (no pulling), is housetrained, and is quite independent when he needs to be left or when you're occupied. Pip is easygoing. He likes a calm and quiet environment and would prefer a house with older kids or adults. That said, he's an adaptable guy who would be happy in a condo or a house with a fenced yard. Really his only demand is to be around you and receive your love and attention (and don't forget to keep the snacks coming). Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Sooni Age: About 1 Year Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Chihuahua Mix Color: White Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from the illegal dog meat trade and given a second chance at life. While my past was difficult, I am focused on the future—a future filled with love, comfort, and a family of my own. I am ready to leave my old life behind and start a wonderful new chapter with someone who will cherish me forever.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a truly lovable little dog who suits my name perfectly. I have a gentle, easygoing personality and a big heart full of affection. I might be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take me long—just a day—and I’ll open right up and show you my sweet, cuddly side. I get along really well with other dogs and enjoy peaceful friendships without any trouble. I’m especially charming in social settings, and I tend to be liked by everyone I meet. I may be small, but I’m very cute, and people often say my smile is especially beautiful. I’m ready to keep growing and blossoming in a loving home. I’m the kind of companion who can be loved anywhere, as long as I’m with someone who cares for me.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but a tasty treat is often all it takes to win me over! Once I realize you're a friend, I warm up quickly and enjoy being petted and spending time together. I'm comfortable being gently picked up with an arm under my belly, and as I build trust, my affectionate side really begins to shine. When I feel safe and happy, I'll even roll over and show you my belly—a special sign that I've come to trust and love you. One of my sweetest qualities is how well I get along with children. I am especially gentle and accepting with kids under 13 years old. · With Dogs: I’m a friendly and social dog who loves making new friends! Whether I already know them or am meeting them for the first time, I enjoy approaching other dogs to say hello and invite them to play. I tend to get along especially well with dogs that are similar in size to me. I'm also the type of dog who prefers peace over conflict. Even if another dog is rude or tries to provoke me, I'm more likely to walk away and avoid trouble than get involved in an argument. · With Cats: When I see cats, I tend to stay focused on my people rather than paying much attention to them.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it's going for walks, exploring new places, or simply enjoying fresh air. After I've had some exercise and adventure, I'm usually happy to relax quietly and recharge by your side. I'm still learning my leash manners and can pull a little during walks, but I genuinely enjoy being with my people and do my best to follow their lead. Because I haven't had much experience with walks and the outside world, some things can still feel a little scary to me. If I encounter something unfamiliar or intimidating, I may crouch down or freeze until I feel safe again. Sudden movements or loud noises in the distance can also startle me. As I learn that the world is a safe and exciting place, I'm sure my brave and curious side will continue to blossom.   TRAINING & HABITS I have a gentle and easygoing nature when it comes to food. Whether I'm around people or other dogs, I don't feel the need to guard my meals or treats and am happy to share my space peacefully. When I see unfamiliar people, I may bark to let you know someone new is nearby. Once I have a chance to understand that everything is okay, I can relax and settle down. I'm well-behaved in a kennel or crate, making travel and quiet time much easier. When it's time to rest, I'm content to settle in calmly and patiently. I have experience with both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty breaks, so I can adapt well to different household routines.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES    SOONI'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2756875##
