Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Jolly Age: 8 years old (Born January 2018) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Pomspitz Color: White Weight:  4.1kg / 9lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from an illegal puppy farm, where I never had the chance to experience the safe and loving life every dog deserves. Thankfully, I was given a second chance and those difficult days are now behind me. I’m ready to start a brand new chapter with a forever family who will cherish me, shower me with love, and finally show me what it feels like to truly belong. Volunteers and staff believe I’m Kkoysong’s sister.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues I have a slight underbite, which only adds to my adorable charm! It doesn’t cause me any issues, and I’m otherwise doing great.   MY PERSONALITY I’m a little shyer than my sister Kkosyong, but underneath my quiet nature is an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl. Because I wasn’t properly socialized earlier in life, I simply need some extra time and patience while I learn that I’m safe. Once I trust you, my affectionate side really comes out. I’ll happily follow you around asking for pets and cuddles, and I can actually be even more attention-loving than my sister! I also have some adorable little quirks. I like to enjoy my meals peacefully in my own corner and take my sweet time eating, which the volunteers find quite funny. Once I’m comfortable with you, I’m very cooperative with grooming and do well with nail trims, brushing, baths, and ear cleaning. Since I’m still building confidence in new environments, I may try to slip through an open door if I see an opportunity. My future family will need to be mindful of doors and make sure I’m safely secured and supervised, especially while I’m adjusting to my new home. With patience, a secure environment, and lots of love, I know my sweet and cuddly personality will continue to blossom.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when we first meet, but with some patience and a few tasty treats, I warm up quickly and will happily take treats right from your hand. Since I didn’t have many opportunities for socialization earlier in life, I simply need a little extra time and understanding as I adjust to new people and environments. I even did wonderfully during my profile photoshoot and showed everyone just how sweet I can be! I’m comfortable being picked up, but gentle handling is important to me, especially when we’re still getting to know each other. I feel safest when my body and bottom are properly supported, and sudden pick-ups in unfamiliar environments can startle me and make me very scared. Once I’ve had time to build trust, though, I’m much more comfortable being held. After all, who doesn’t appreciate being treated with a little patience and gentleness? · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dogs, but I prefer to take my time rather than jumping straight into play. I coexist peacefully with my dog friends at the care facility and am comfortable sharing my space with them. I generally feel most at ease with dogs around my size or smaller, especially those with a calm and respectful approach. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a low energy level and am a true little couch potato at heart! I love spending my days relaxing, snoozing, and enjoying the comfort of a cozy indoor space. I don’t need constant activity to be happy and am perfectly content taking it easy and resting near my people.   TRAINING & HABITS I have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals from either people or other dogs. I also walk nicely on leash and follow my handler’s lead well, making me an easy and enjoyable walking companion. I’m a very quiet girl who rarely barks and generally prefers a peaceful environment. I already know how to settle and rest calmly in my kennel, so I’m comfortable having some quiet time on my own. For potty habits, I currently go both indoors using pee pads and outdoors. With a consistent routine in my forever home, I’m sure I’ll continue making great progress.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding of my shy nature and willing to be patient while I come out of my shell   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a sweet, quiet girl who simply needs a little patience to show you just how loving I can be. Because I had limited socialization earlier in life, I may be shy at first and appreciate gentle handling, a secure environment, and the freedom to adjust at my own pace. Once I feel safe, my affectionate side really blossoms. I’ll happily follow my favorite people around looking for pets, cuddles, and companionship. I’m also a low energy little couch potato who loves peaceful days, cozy naps, and having my own space to relax. I get along well with other dogs, especially those around my size or smaller, and I already have wonderful habits like walking nicely on leash, settling calmly in my kennel, and having good manners around food. Give me a little time to trust you, and I promise there’s a gentle, loyal, and loving companion waiting to blossom.   JOLLY'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2818188##

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Jadu Age: Around 2 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Chihuahua mix Color: Brown with Black Muzzle Weight: 3kg / 6.6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city pound where I had been placed on the euthanasia list simply because there was no longer enough space. My time was running out, and without someone stepping in, I might never have had the chance to experience the life I deserved. Thankfully, rescuers found me in time and brought me to safety. That chapter of my life is over now, and I’ve been allowed to start again. I’m ready to leave the uncertainty behind and find a forever family who will love me, protect me, and make sure I always know exactly where I belong.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues I am scheduled to undergo surgery for my luxating patella.   MY PERSONALITY My name means “Plum” in Korean, and just like a little plum, I’m tiny, sweet, and absolutely adorable! My name couldn’t suit me better, and I’m actually even smaller and cuter in person than I look in my photos. From the way I behave, the volunteers and staff believe I may have lived in a home before. I seem to understand the rhythm of being around people naturally. I love having fun and playing, but once I’ve had enough excitement, I’m perfectly happy settling down and resting calmly beside someone. I have a lovely balance between being playful and knowing when it’s time to relax. Don’t let my tiny size fool you either! I’m a confident little girl when it comes to making dog friends, and I’m not intimidated by dogs much bigger than me. I’m happy to join in the fun and enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes. Most of all, I absolutely love people! Sometimes I get so excited to meet someone new that I simply can’t contain myself. During my profile photoshoot, I was happily jumping right into the volunteers’ and staff members’ arms, asking for pets, cuddles, and all the attention they were willing to give me. I’m a tiny girl with a huge amount of affection to share, and I can’t wait to have a family whose arms I can jump into every day.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m incredibly friendly and love meeting new people! I happily soak up all the attention and affection I can get, even from people I’ve just met. I’m comfortable being picked up and held, and I’ll happily roll over and show you my belly when I’m hoping for some extra belly rubs. With my sweet, affectionate, and trusting personality, making new friends comes naturally to me. · With Dogs: I’m definitely more of a people’s pup! While I’m friendly with other dogs and enjoy greeting new canine friends, I don’t show much interest in playing with them. After saying hello, I’m usually perfectly happy wandering off and doing my own thing. My heart really belongs to people, and I’d much rather spend my time soaking up affection, cuddles, and attention from the humans around me. I can peacefully share my space with dog friends, but I don’t need another dog to keep me entertained or make me feel happy. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still working on perfecting my leash manners and may pull at times, especially when something catches my interest, but overall I follow my handler’s lead nicely. I also have good manners around food and don’t guard my meals or treats from either people or other dogs. I can sometimes bark when I’m looking for attention or when I hear or notice something that I think is worth alerting everyone about, but I calm down and settle again. I’m also still learning how to rest quietly and comfortably in my kennel, so I’ll benefit from continued patience and positive practice. For potty habits, I currently go both indoors using pee pads and outdoors. I may do a little marking when I first enter a new environment, but with time, a consistent routine, and guidance as I settle into my new home, I should continue making progress.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I may be tiny, but I have a big personality and an even bigger love for people! I’m happiest when I’m around people and absolutely love affection. During my profile photoshoot, I could barely contain my excitement and kept jumping right into the volunteers’ and staff members’ arms for pets and cuddles. After I’ve had my fun, I’m also happy to settle down calmly beside someone and simply enjoy being close to them. The volunteers and staff believe I may have lived in a home before because of how naturally I seem to settle around people. While I’m definitely more of a people’s pup, I’m comfortable around other dogs too. I’ll happily greet new dog friends, including dogs much bigger than me, but after saying hello, I usually prefer doing my own thing rather than joining in lots of play. I’m a sweet, affectionate little girl with so much love to give. Whether I’m bouncing into your arms for cuddles or quietly resting beside you, what I really want is to be close to my people. I can’t wait to find a forever family who will love having their tiny Plum by their side.   JADU'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2837886##

QUICK FACTS Name: Jamong Age: About 2 Years Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Chihuahua Mix Color: Brown Weight: 2.5kg / 6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city shelter after being placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in and brought me to safety, giving me a second chance and a hopeful new beginning. Now, I’m ready to start the next chapter of my journey and find a loving forever family to call my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Jamong! I’m an unbelievably tiny and adorable girl, but don’t let my size fool you—I have a surprisingly brave little personality packed into this miniature body. I can sometimes look timid because I become very submissive around people, but underneath that soft exterior is a confident little character who isn’t nearly as fragile as she looks. People are definitely my soft spot. I genuinely love humans and will approach people on my own, but the moment someone comes toward me, I tend to melt straight onto the floor. I’ll lower my head, flatten myself down, and often roll over to show my belly. Sometimes even making eye contact is enough to make me adorably flustered! Once I’m interacting with people, though, I’m incredibly gentle and affectionate, with plenty of sweetness to share. With dogs, I have a completely new side. Bigger dogs generally don’t bother me much, but if a dog around my own size gets too close or pesters me, I’m perfectly capable of telling them what I think. I may growl or stand my ground, and despite my tiny stature, I can be surprisingly bold during a disagreement. Apparently, nobody told me how small I am! I’d love a family who appreciates the hilarious contrast that makes me so memorable: with humans, I’m a tiny sweetheart who practically melts into the floor for affection; with certain dog friends, I suddenly seem convinced I’m ten times my actual size. Give me plenty of love, respect my boundaries, and keep this tiny body safe, and you’ll get a wonderfully affectionate little companion with more personality—and courage—than anyone could possibly expect from such a small package.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m naturally friendly and affectionate with people, and I’m happy to approach both familiar faces and new people for attention. I enjoy leaning in for affection and am comfortable being petted—even with someone I’ve just met, I may feel comfortable enough to roll over and show my belly. I haven’t had experience with children under 13 yet, so my comfort level with younger kids is still unknown. · With Dogs: I’m comfortable approaching unfamiliar dogs to say hello, though I usually prefer a friendly greeting rather than jumping straight into play. I generally do well with dogs bigger than me. If another dog challenges me, I may try to stand my ground rather than back away—even if my attempt at being tough isn’t particularly convincing! Because of this, calm and careful introductions are still important when I’m meeting a new dog for the first time. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, but I’m also happy to settle down and relax afterward. I’m still working on my leash skills and may pull at times, but overall, I follow my person well and respond to their guidance on walks.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food around people or other dogs I rarely bark. I’m calm and settled when I’m in a kennel I’m comfortable with both indoor pee pads and going potty outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES    JAMONG'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2827581##
