                                                                             KENNEL ID #18804Gizmo/Tiko is an approximately 2 year old male Chihuahua mix who is ready to find his forever home. His story is one of those rescue stories that reminds us just how much the right people can change a life. Gizmo/Tiko was found by some truly wonderful people who had previously adopted from us about six years ago. While driving, they spotted him desperately trying to cross a busy road. He was in an extremely dangerous situation and appeared to be just moments away from tragedy. Thankfully, they stopped their car-and Gizmo/Tiko came running right over to them. Almost as if he knew they were there to help him. He was given a second chance, and he couldn't have found better people to stop for him that day. He has been doing really well with crate training and is also learning to go potty outside. He is already making wonderful progress and showing just how much he wants to learn!  Gizmo/Tiko weighs under 10lbs. so he would need a home without young children. He is a very lovable little guy who loves to sit on your lap and get carried around. Adoption Fee: $475 includes neuterThank you for your interest in rescue. Oakley ended up at our adoption due to no fault of her own. She was given to a couple after being abused and mistreated at her original home. This couple decided to surrender her because they already had 3 dogs. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, on heartworm prevention medicine. She can be possessive over food so we are asking for a home with no young children. She does need patience when it comes to trusting new people.
