Story
Rudy is an approximately 9-year-old, 15-pound sweetheart with the kind of gentle soul that makes you want to sit down and stay awhile. He came to rescue after being found running loose, and despite posters and social media posts, no one ever came forward to claim him. Their loss is truly someone else’s gain. Rudy is a total couch potato who loves cuddling and being close. He is calm, affectionate, and incredibly easy to have around. He does well with pottying outside as long as he’s taken out regularly and settles into a routine with no fuss. He gets along well with other dogs, ignores cats, and travels beautifully in the car. He walks on leash and enjoys taking his time to explore the world at his own pace. Rudy has limited vision in his right eye, but it does not slow him down or impact his quality of life. He navigates just fine and goes about his day happily. Rudy is a good eater, especially when treats are involved, and has a preference for canned food. Overall, he is a low-maintenance, loving companion who truly just wants a warm lap, a comfy couch, and someone to share snacks with. Rudy is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. He is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Candy is a petite, 6-pound Pomeranian who will celebrate her 13th birthday on October 12. Her soft, fine coat is easy to maintain, and her bright eyes light up whenever her foster enters the room. Candy may be a senior, but her spirit is full of life. She bounces and spins with joy when she’s happy, and she always wants to be near her people. She loves nothing more than curling into your arms and soaking up affection. She has good potty habits when taken outside regularly and sleeps soundly through the night. Candy rides quietly in the car when crated and gets along well with other dogs. She ignores cats and would be perfectly content in a calm household where she can share her days with someone who appreciates her gentle, loving nature. Candy is fully vetted, including an examination, spay, dental, vaccinations, negative heartworm test, deworming, and microchipping. Story
Dexter is an estimated 8–10-year-old, 13-pound brown and white parti Pomeranian with a calm, happy nature and the kind of easygoing personality that makes him a joy to have around. He was found running as a stray and was never reclaimed, but he has settled beautifully into rescue life and seems more than ready for a cozy forever home. Dexter is outgoing, friendly, and genuinely sweet with everyone he meets. He walks well on a leash, rides great in the car, and enjoys traveling. At home, he is quiet and content, happiest lounging nearby and soaking in the good life. He has that wonderful senior-dog confidence where very little rattles him and everything feels manageable. When Dexter came into rescue, he tested heartworm positive, but he has since completed fast kill treatment and is fully cleared. He recently had an extensive dental and is feeling great. He is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing, and he is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
