I'm just a puppy and can get into a lot of trouble so you'll need to be willing to give me lots of gentle guidance, so I can learn all those big dog things, like how to behave in a house, what a crate is for, how to walk on a leash without pulling, and all those verbal commands every dog should know. I may even treat people like I treat my sibling with rough play or decide that a new pair of shoes or a table leg would make a great chew toy, so a lot of appropriate toys should be in my future. He came to rescue after being found running loose, and despite posters and social media posts, no one ever came forward to claim him. Their loss is truly someone else’s gain. Rudy is a total couch potato who loves cuddling and being close. He is calm, affectionate, and incredibly easy to have around. He does well with pottying outside as long as he’s taken out regularly and settles into a routine with no fuss. He gets along well with other dogs, ignores cats, and travels beautifully in the car. He walks on leash and enjoys taking his time to explore the world at his own pace. Rudy has limited vision in his right eye, but it does not slow him down or impact his quality of life. He navigates just fine and goes about his day happily. Rudy is a good eater, especially when treats are involved, and has a preference for canned food.
