Meet Libby! ❤️ Libby is ready for a fresh start with a family who will give her the time, patience, and love she needs to feel safe. Rescued from a property in Missouri, Libby can be nervous in new situations and will need a gentle, understanding home where she can settle in at her own pace. Once her spunky personality starts to shine, Libby loves to play with toys and show off her fun side! A confident canine companion may be just the friend she needs to help her navigate this big new world. With slow introductions, she may also do well with cats and children who understand how to respect her space. Libby may need a little extra time to come out of her shell, but with a family willing to help her build confidence, she has so much potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. Sometimes, the best things in life just take a little patience! ❤️ Libby is heartworm positive and is available for foster-to-adopt with families who live within 30 minutes of our shelter while she undergoes treatment. She will need to remain on crate rest during treatment, so her family will need to be prepared to help her through this important part of her journey. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
