Story
Meet Joyce, one of the most precious little souls in our Stranger Things crew. This tiny Chihuahua mix was found as a stray alongside her buddy Jim through our partners at Operation Kindness. While we’d be thrilled to see them adopted together, it’s not a requirement — Joyce simply wants a loving home to call her own. At around 11 years old, Joyce is a senior girl, but don’t let her age fool you. She recently had a dental, feels worlds better, and still has plenty of pep and personality. Her stunning eyes, dainty frame, and gentle demeanor make her a total heart-stealer. Joyce is snuggly, sweet, and soft in every way. She loves curling up with her people, soaking in affection, and living life at a relaxed, cozy pace. She’s the kind of dog who brings warmth and tenderness into any room she enters. This lovely little lady is so ready to live out her golden years surrounded by comfort, kindness, and a family who sees just how special she is. If you’re looking for a gentle companion with a whole lot of love still to give, Joyce is waiting for you. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
Say hello to Jim, the handsome little gentleman who was found as a stray alongside his friend Joyce through our partners at Operation Kindness. Like Joyce, he’s about 11 years old, and while we’d love to see them adopted together, it’s not required — Jim just wants a soft bed, a warm lap, and a family to adore him. Jim recently had a dental and is feeling so much better. He may be a senior, but he’s healthy, bright-eyed, and absolutely full of charm. With his sweet face and calm, steady presence, he’s the kind of dog who quietly works his way right into your heart. He’s gentle, affectionate, and enjoys the simple things in life: cozy naps, being near his people, and taking in the world at an easygoing pace. Jim is the definition of a “good little buddy,” and he’ll make a wonderful companion for anyone looking to give a senior pup the love he deserves. If you’ve been hoping for a mellow, loving, golden-years companion, Jim is ready to start his next chapter with you. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
Meet Suzie, the tiny, adorable spark of our Stranger Things crew. This sweet little Chihuahua mix came to us through our partners at Operation Kindness after being found as a stray, and she’s been bringing big smiles with her small-but-mighty presence ever since. Suzie may be little, but she’s full of potential. She’s a bright, curious girl who’s still learning about the world, so she’ll thrive with a family committed to continued socialization and basic training. With patience, guidance, and lots of love, she’s going to grow into an incredibly well-rounded and confident adult dog. Right now, she’s all about soft blankets, gentle affection, and staying close to her people. Her sweetness shines through in everything she does — and with the right home to help her blossom, we know she’s going to make a truly wonderful companion. If you’re ready to bring home a pint-sized partner with a heart full of possibility, Suzie is waiting for you. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
