Dutton is a 9 year old pomeranian. He weighs about 8 pounds. Dutton is shy around new people. He will needs extra love and attention to get used to someone new. Dutton does well with other dogs but is not "crazy" about puppies pawing all over him to play. He just tries to get away from them. He prefers an older more relaxed dog playmate. Dutton has been neutered and is current on vaccinations. He tested negative for heartworms. He had a basic dental done. Dutton is microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.00. Story

Itally is a sweet senior looking for a new place to live out her golden years!  She is still working on coming out of her shell, but she is settling in at her foster home.  Right now she prefers to just relax by herself, but she does not mind the company of other dogs.  She is a very relaxed and content dog.  You could never tell her age as she is very happy and calm once she decompresses.  It may take her a few minutes, but she'll eventually melt into your lap.  While previous owners reported that she was having potty accidents, she is thriving at her new foster home.  She's doing well with going outside as long as she has a sweater on in thie Nebraska "spring" weather! The suggested adoption donation for Itally is $350, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals.  In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.  Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases)  during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. Stravos is a handsome 3 year old pomeranian. He is very shy with people but does seem to enjoy being held on our laps. Stravos does great with the other dogs and enjoys their company. He likes to be outside to play but likes to cuddle up with a blanket and another dog when it's chilly.Stravos has been neutered and is current on vaccinations. He tested negative for heartworms. He had a dental exam. The vet had some concerns but asked us to watch for symptoms and he hasn't shown even one. So we are making him available for adoption. Stravos adoption fee is $350.00.
