Story
My children and I have decided to keep Doche until after Christmas as they want to spend Christmas with her. I will be back reviewing applications after Christmas. If you are still interested, we will most certainly consider you (once Christmas has passed). Doche is a very family friendly dog that loves to have fun. My daughter has had her since she was 1 month old and she turned 1 year in October. She is easy maintenance. She does love to eat but other than that a very loving dog. Unfortunately, my daughter and I have a lot going on and we aren’t able to give her the full attention she needs. Although it is sad for us to give her away, we are wanting to give her to a family who will love her and provide a good home for her.

Story
Ms. Belle is looking for her forever home.  Belle is a 7–8-year-old, 8-pound adorable pom! She has excellent leash and car manners.  Belle’s ideal forever home is as your one and only girl.  Her previous owner had a medical issue and couldn't keep Belle.  Belle would also prefer a crate-free forever home.  She is house trained and loves to be held.  Belle can be a little bit nervous when first meeting new folks, so we don't think a home with littles is ideal for this sweet girl.  Belle is beyond cute and clearly very photogenic!  It is easy to fall completely in love with this cutie patootie. To learn more about adopting Belle, please email adoptme@cockerspanielrescue.com. She is located in Leesburg, VA.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 12, 2025, 7:20 pm

Story
Current Location: Korea 🇰🇷 🐾✨ Meet JISU — A Gentle & Sweet Pom Mix Girl Looking for Her Forever Family ✨🐾 🌸 A soft soul who just wants to belong. 🌸 📌 Basic Info 🐶 Name: Jisu (JISU) 🎀 Age: 3 years old 👧 Gender: Female ⚖️ Weight: 4.9 kg 🐾 Breed: Pomeranian Mix 💉 Vaccinations / Spay-Neuter: Completed 💛 Personality & Charm Jisu is shy at first, but she really wants to be close to people. She quietly stays nearby, observes, trusts slowly… and then one day, she melts into your arms and holds on tight. 🥹💞 Calm, gentle, and loving — the perfect companion for a peaceful home. 👨‍👩‍👧 With Adults & Kids 🧑 Adults: Takes time to warm up, but becomes affectionate and loyal once she trusts you 🧒 Kids: Calm and gentle, okay with being next to them or being touched ⚠️ If kids run or shout loudly, she chooses to observe from a distance 🐶 With Other Animals 🐕 Dogs: Excellent! — polite greetings and sometimes playful with her favorite friends 🐱 Cats: Good! — sniffs and ignores 🦜 Lives peacefully with a parrot in her foster home 🚽 House-training ✨ 100% reliable! ✔ Outdoor potty ✔ Indoor pee pads ✔ Balcony turf ➡️ Very easy and stress-free 🔋 Energy Level ⚡ Low ~ Medium 🏡 Quiet and peaceful at home 🐕 At the park, lightly plays with familiar friends or just jogs along with the group 🗣 Separation Anxiety / Barking / Aggression 💛 Separation anxiety: ❌ 🔔 Barking: ❌ (very minimal) 💥 Aggression: ❌ If scared, she may growl or bark once/twice to say “I’m uncomfortable” — never attacks. 🚶‍♀️ Walks & Car Rides 🌳 Loves walking 🪑 If you sit on a bench, she sits right beside you for comfort 🥹 🚗 Excellent in the car — even waits politely before getting in 🏃 Escape Tendency Because she can get startled, double safety (double leash + secure harness) is recommended. In familiar places, even if the leash slips, she stays close and doesn’t run far. ➡️ Once bonded, she wants to stay within her person’s sight ❤️ 🐾 Rescue Story Jisu lived one year at Gokseong Shelter with her sister Subin. On the day they were scheduled for euthanasia, both were rescued together. She was pregnant at the time and later gave birth to three puppies (she is 💗 Pony’s mom). Now, after everything she has survived… it’s finally her turn to be loved. 📍 Jisu is ready for her forever home. She doesn’t need much — just patience, kindness, and a safe heart to land in. 🤍 If you think she may be the missing piece of your family…♡

Please contact Diane Pedulla (dianep@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.small senior ISO happily ever after! CINNAMON NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Cinnamon         Best Guess for Breed: Pomeranian mix Best Guess for Age: 12 years as of December 2025          SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  11.5 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   DC area foster home.   Cinnamon is Looking For:  His forever home. No 12-year-old should end up in the shelter but sometimes life happens. He's just such a happy, loving boy with plenty of pep in his step. And he's eager to bestow all that love upon his new humans. And loyal companionship - he's up for those sniffy walks and all the adventures that come with being a well-loved pet! (He also wants daily brushing and regular professional grooming - those Pom coats can mat, and mats hurt!)   What do you say? Are you Cinnamon's new chapter, his forever?  What My Foster Says About Me: Cinnamon is the definition of a gentle soul. He loves napping, snuggling, and quietly playing with his toys. He will also ask for more pets if I stop petting him by either licking my hand or just pawing at me until I continue. He absolutely lives for treats and if he hears even the slightest crinkle, he’s instantly alert and ready for a snack.   He’s a calm, easygoing companion who would love nothing more than to curl up next to someone on the couch. I haven’t heard him bark, and he’s been perfectly fine being picked up. He has not had any accidents in the house, making him a wonderful guest.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $375, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. MAX is a neutered male, approximately 6 ½ yrs old. He weighs 20#. (See below for his DNA Test.) We have had him professionally groomed to show off his beautiful tail. We had him shaved some which helps him keep clean. He’s a very sweet dog but he has gone through a major life event...the owner had to surrender him due to their loss of housing. Max took the adjustment hard but he has pulled through and now shows himself to be a wonderful affectionate dog. He is active and happy yet shy and submissive. He was not exposed to much of the outside world… like walking into the store or going to the park. Max gets along great with the other dogs. He asks to go outside and demands to come back in...scratching at the door. I see a lot of future for him with a loving person or couple that would like some company on an evening walk and fun with a picnic lunch. He is food motivated. Max likes being on the couch or in bed with his person. Max frequently comes up asking for love. He is house trained and most of the time he leaves my cats alone. I did catch him playing with one of my cats... they were both face-to-face and with one paw each swinging at each other. I wish I could have gotten that in a video. Max is also easy on the leash. I would NOT put him with young children… “adult-like” children would be fine. He is basically fairly quiet and would do well in an apartment. DNA TEST: 25% Dachshund (Mini Shorthair) 25% Pomeranian 12.5% Chihuahua 12.5% English Cocker Spaniel 12.5% Tibetan Spaniel 12.5% Breed Groups This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at petcentralsatx@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
