Story
Hello, I am looking to rehome my dog Binx. I adopted him in 2021, he is 6 now. He has all of the high-energy & happy characteristics of a Pomeranian. He is house-trained and walks great on a leash. He enjoys cuddling and is obsessed with playing fetch. He is great with other dogs, even my rabbit, but not sure about cats. I think he would do better in a family with children. He has so much love and energy to give that I am really not able to give as a single person. He does have his Pomeranian quirks. He can get overexcited when he knows you are leaving and will run in circles. I give him a treat puzzle to refocus his energy before I leave. He also barks to alert you when someones at the door or noise outside, but he quiets down quickly with correction. I just want him to find a home that can give him all the love he deserves. Adoption will include all of Binx’s things (bowls, leashes, food storage, dog bed, toys, etc.). I will also provide all of Binx’s paperwork and vaccinations.

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. MAX is a neutered male, approximately 6 ½ yrs old. He weighs 20#. (See below for his DNA Test.) We have had him professionally groomed to show off his beautiful tail. We had him shaved some which helps him keep clean. He’s a very sweet dog but he has gone through a major life event...the owner had to surrender him due to their loss of housing. Max took the adjustment hard but he has pulled through and now shows himself to be a wonderful affectionate dog. He is active and happy yet shy and submissive. He was not exposed to much of the outside world… like walking into the store or going to the park. Max gets along great with the other dogs. I see a lot of future for him with a loving person or couple that would like some company on an evening walk and fun with a picnic lunch. He is food motivated. Max likes being on the couch or in bed with his person. Max frequently comes up asking for love. He is house trained and most of the time he leaves my cats alone. I did catch him playing with one of my cats... they were both sitting face-to-face and with one paw each swinging at each other kind of like a "High 5". I wish I could have gotten that in a video. Max is also easy on the leash. I would NOT put him with young children… “adult-like” children would be fine. He is basically fairly quiet and would do well in an apartment. DNA TEST: 25% Dachshund (Mini Shorthair) 25% Pomeranian 12.5% Chihuahua 12.5% English Cocker Spaniel 12.5% Tibetan Spaniel 12.5% Breed Groups This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at petcentralsatx@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
Bogey is a 4 year-old male pomeranian. He is spirited, smart, and very funny. He is very people-oriented. Barks at strangers, but warms up to guests quickly. Bogey has anxiety (taking medication) - experience with dog anxiety is preferred. He barks/lunges at things when he's scared. He's scared of cars, so walks in our neighborhood are hard. Some resource (chews and bones) guarding around other animals - just posturing, has never bitten. He is 99% housetrained, but has accidents when stressed. With the work we’ve been able to do, he has shown a lot of improvement. He plays well with our other dog, and ignores our cats. Aside from his anxiety/behavior issues, he is a sweet, loving and loyal dog. With adequate enrichment and behavior work he will be a wonderful companion, but due to health and financial issues we lack the ability or resources to give him what he needs. I will email applicants to follow up.

Story
Doche is a very family friendly dog that loves to have fun. My daughter has had her since she was 1 month old and she turned 1 year in October. She is easy maintenance. She does love to eat but other than that a very loving dog. Unfortunately, my daughter and I have a lot going on and we aren’t able to give her the full attention she needs. Although it is sad for us to give her away, we are wanting to give her to a family who will love her and provide a good home for her.
