You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Toby & Precious – Two Sweet Souls Looking for Their Forever Home Precious, a tiny Pomeranian mix, and Toby, an 11-year-old Chihuahua, recently lost their mom. One of their fur siblings was already taken to a shelter, but a kind-hearted Good Samaritan stepped in to give these two a safe, temporary home. Unfortunately, she already has three dogs, so this is not a long-term option. These sweet pups are pee pad trained and love walking on leashes. They are a little shy, especially around men, but with patience and love, they will warm up quickly. Location: Marshville, Union County (about 25 miles east of Charlotte) Please note: We do not transport dogs, so adopters must pick them up in Marshville. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Ralph is a estimated 6 year old Pomeranian. He was rescued from a huge puppy mill bust in TN with over 100 dogs on the property. He has a gentle, low-key personality and big brown eyes that might convince you he’s due for an early meal (stick to the schedule, he adapts beautifully!). He is shy at first but builds trust with patience and consistency. In just one week, Ralph has made remarkable comfort strides from staying in his crate on day one to relaxing in the living room with us all day by day seven, even hopping into a cozy chair. He enjoys being near his people rather than 'on' them, happily sharing space without demanding attention. Ralph enjoys affection like tummy and ear rubs, but he doesn’t demand attention. He also loves to 'show off' his toys and will carry them around the house while prancing along. He is not aggressive, very low-bark, does not jump on people, walks well on a leash once it’s on him, responds well to food rewards, and sleeps best after a nice evening walk. He has not had any accidents in the house since the very first day! He does well with other dogs and peacefully coexists with our resident Pom. Ralph also handled a busy house of holiday guests beautifully, staying out in the main room with everyone and even allowing new people to pet him! Give him a little space at first and time and you will see his resilient and happy side come to life! ****************************************************************************** The adoption fee is $400, which covers vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.
