You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Introducing Roxy! Roxy came to DASH from Rural Kentucky. This little miniature Pomeranian, is full of spunk and sass, but is also a sweet love bug. She was surrendered for being an excessive barker, but in her time in her foster home, her foster mom has not observed that other than when she needs to go out to potty. She is crate trained, but not crated currently, potty trained and walks well on a leash. She enjoys being able to go out into the fenced in back yard at her foster home to explore and potty and would love to have a fenced in area in her new home, if possible, to be able to continue to do that. She does love going for a walk and will spin around and around when she realizes it's walk time. She gets along with dogs her size, but is a little stand offish with them at first. She would do fine with or without another dog in her new home. She is also very independent and will go and hang out in a room by herself. Roxy will allow you to pick her up, but she prefers her person to go slow and do more of a scoop than a pick up with both hands. She does not like young children, but older (10+) respectful children should be fine with proper introductions. She has not been cat tested. This girl is really ready to find per forever person who will shower her with affection and love and maybe even take her on adventures with them. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi there Benji here! Benji was surrendered to DASH by his previous owner.  He is currently working on trusting humans and other dogs. He is a "guy's guy" and prefers both male dogs and men. Since he has these things he is currently working on he will need a patient adopter to continue to work with him. Once he feels comfortable with people he is very loving. Benji is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He is currently in the DASH Prison program where he is learnig basic commands. In his previous home Benji was fine with cats but did not do well with children. If you are willing to be the one who continues to work on making him the best dog he can be then apply today.  (FTA: Benji is a part of our Foster-to-Adopt program. We have had Dax since he was 7wks, from a private breeder, he is now 11. Our life is very very busy my husband taking a new traveling job and the kids are getting older and have their own lives. Finding time to spend with Dax has become rough a den he deserves so much more. Dax is definitely a sweet old man, he is sooooo lovable, the sweetest dog I have ever seen. He loves people, takes snacks at the slowest pace, he does spray, which we have tried and tried and tried to train him not to. Other than that he is a great dog and it saddens us to re home him. He is picky on snacks and doesn’t care for toys and loves somewhere comfy to lay as well as the outdoors. He would love to find him a loving home.

Story
Lola is about 7 years old, we got her as a puppy. She is a good dog, we recently have noticed some behavior changes as in she is extremely nervous. She has NEVER bit anyone but has become very nervous. We have 3 kids and two other dogs and it so much for her and we live in an active neighborhood. While she is nervous, in a small environment she is so loving, she loves cuddles and snacks but doesn’t care for toys, she is an excellent guard dog. Storms and fireworks terrify her and she loves laying around. She doesn’t like being picked up really but lives tummy scratches. It’s pains us to rehome her so we are looking for a great person to take in that role.
