This cutey pie came to DASH from a rural shelter is KY and was found as a stray. He is just so beautiful and so sweet. He is currently in our DASH Prison Program where he is learning his basic commands and working on his socialization skills and potty training, crate training and leash manners. He just wants to be wherever his person is and will let you know if you plan to leave him behind. He would love nothing more than to go on any and all adventures you are up for. He has not been kid or cat tested, but feel he would do well with older kids in a home. He may have too much energy for a senior who is looking for just a lap buddy. I’m a low-energy pup who enjoys a calm, cozy life and knows how to relax and just enjoy the moment. I do great with other dogs and with kids, especially kids who understand how to be gentle and not pull on me. I’m house trained, crate trained, and walk nicely on a leash. I’m also very polite around the house and will happily leave non-food items alone. I may be laid-back, but I’ll alert you when visitors or packages arrive, and when I want something, I might do a little twirl or stand up on my two legs to get your attention. I’m a true gentleman—I’ll even ask for permission before hopping up into your lap. I love small meaty treats, my squeaky abominable snowman toy, and most of all, cuddle sessions. Curling up with you for a good snuggle is my favorite way to spend the day.
