Benji was surrendered to DASH by his previous owner.  He is currently working on trusting humans and other dogs. He is a "guy's guy" and prefers both male dogs and men. Since he has these things he is currently working on he will need a patient adopter to continue to work with him. Once he feels comfortable with people he is very loving. Benji is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He is currently in the DASH Prison program where he is learnig basic commands. In his previous home Benji was fine with cats but did not do well with children. Lucky is a 2½-year-old Pomsky with plenty of personality packed into his medium frame. He’s playful, smart, and loves being the center of attention. Once he decides you’re his person, he’ll follow you everywhere and soak up every bit of affection you’ll give. He’s fully trained and neutered, but don’t let that fool you—he’s got a streak of independence and will sometimes pretend he doesn’t hear you just to prove a point. Loud noises and thunderstorms make him nervous, so he does best somewhere calm and reassuring when the weather turns. Our Grandmother died and Gumdrop was her companion. He would do best with an older lady who likes cuddles and conversation. The kids next door have taunted him so we are not sure how he would do with children. He likes other animals and has a best friend who is a sassy cat.
