Henry was born on 2/4/2023 so he is still a puppy which is why he has not been neutered nor does he have a chip. As you can see by the pictures, we also have a black English lab who was born on 10/4/2022. Henry and Hazel are best friends which is what we wanted when we adopted him to occur. Our situation is that my husband and I do not work from home and Henry needs someone to be home more often than we are able to be. He is smart, listens well and wants to be loved. He will make someone very happy with his cuddles.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.All dogs listed here are available for adoption from Yorkie Rescue Houston.  Our goal is to ensure our rescued pets go to their forever home and never end up back in the system.  To that end, an application is required on all potential adopters.   Our adoption fee varies by dog.  We accept electronic funds via VENMO or Paypal, or cash only. Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are available for Foster-to-Adopt only.  A FTA contract is required.   This precious baby was owned and loved.  Sadly, his mom passed away.  Drug addicts and squatters took over the house and tossed precious Nugget outside to fend for himself  and fight off the fleas for 3 weeks until someone saved him! Having no vet history, we got him his vaccines, HW tested, (negative) fecal  (negative) microchipped, neutered and a badly needed dental. He's was a bit growly and grouchy at the vet, showing some cage aggression. We ran a senior panel on him to get a better understanding of his overall health. Extreme caution required until he TRUSTS you.
