Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi, my name is Enzo and I am a wonderful 3  year-old male Pompitz (pomeranian-spitz) mix) and I weigh 11  lbs.    I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in Korea, where dogs like me endure unimaginable cruelty and hardship. Thankfully, compassionate rescuers saved me and gave me the chance to experience something I’d never known before, hope.  I’m a gentle and affectionate companion who loves being around people, including kind children. I get along well with other dogs and would enjoy a family who can shower me with attention and affection.  I’d do best in a home with a family who understands that rescued dogs need patience and time to adjust.    We recommend working with our skilled pet rescue trainer. My adoption fee of  $1,495 (tax-deductible and essential for supporting future rescues) c  overs Spay/Neuter.    DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations,  Deworming and Heartworm testing,  Microchipping,  Boarding fees, health certificate, and airline transport from Korea to Seattle.    For safety, all adopted dogs must have a GPS tracker or Apple AirTag. You can bring your own or purchase one from us.    Your support allows Ginger’s Pet Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to continue its lifesaving work and provide critical medical care for animals in  need.    Email  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  to request an adoption application or to learn more about me. Donations to help with vet bills at Greenwood Vet are always appreciated—they make rescues like mine possible.     August 2, 2026, 8:50 pm

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi! My name is Lulabelle, and I came all the way from Korea in hopes of finding my forever home. I am a 6-year-old Pomeranian girl and weigh about 12 lbs — small, fluffy, and full of charm. (My age and weight are estimated.) I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea, and now I’m waiting for my chance to travel to Seattle. To make this possible, I need a foster home to welcome me when I arrive. Once I’m here, I’ll also be looking for my forever adoptive home filled with love and care. So far, I have not shown any issues with other dogs, children, or people — but every dog may respond differently when settling into a new home. My adoption fee of $1,695 is a donation that is non-refundable and helps save the lives of other dogs in need. It covers my spay, vaccinations, microchip, boarding fees, health certificate, and transport costs from Korea to Seattle. A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you can bring your own or purchase one from us. We do not guarantee the breed or age of our dogs. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, and all adoption fees are donations that help more dogs get their second chance. If you think you can open your heart to a very special girl like me, please fill out an adoption or foster application on my page at www.gingerspetrescue.org .March 7, 2026, 8:59 pm

Story
Meet Bam-i   Your fluffy little shadow with a big personality!   Name: Bam-i Age: 5 years Weight: 4.3 kg (9.5 lbs) Height: 32 cm (shoulder height) Breed: Pomeranian Spayed Female Color: Brown     Rescue Story   Bam-i was rescued from a municipal shelter just before euthanasia. Now she’s ready to leave her past behind and find the loving family she deserves.   ‍‍‍ Loves People   If you’re looking for a true companion, Bam-i is your girl!   She absolutely adores people and happily greets both familiar faces and strangers. She loves rubbing against people for attention, enjoys being picked up with an arm under her belly, and once she trusts you, she’ll even roll over to show you her tummy. Belly rubs are one of her favorite things!   Dog Social Skills   Bam-i can live around other dogs, but she would much rather have people all to herself.   She tends to get annoyed by dogs that invade her personal space and often warns them first by growling or barking. While she has never been observed getting into an actual fight, she could react if another dog challenges her. She generally does well with calm dogs of similar or smaller size, and with larger dogs that simply ignore her, but she isn’t particularly fond of large or overly playful dogs.   She may also growl or bark at other dogs when she’s being held by her person, so adopters should be mindful of this behavior.   She would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home, or with a calm, respectful canine companion.   Cats   Her behavior around cats is currently unknown, but a cat test can be arranged upon request.   Energy Level   Bam-i has a moderate energy level. She enjoys walks and outdoor adventures, then happily relaxes and naps once she’s back home.   Walking   She’s an experienced walker who follows her handler nicely without pulling on the leash. Rather than stopping to sniff everything, she’s more of a “let’s keep going!” kind of girl. ‍   More About Bam-i   No food guarding with people or other dogs.   She shares toys well, although she may engage in a little posturing if another dog is possessive of toys.   She can be vocal when she wants something or feels frustrated, using barking to express herself.   She may have some separation anxiety, although this has not been confirmed. As with many rescue dogs adjusting to a new home and a long international journey, adopters should be prepared for the possibility and help her settle in with patience and routine.   She may whine or bark briefly when first placed in a crate, but she settles down after a short time.   She is currently accustomed to doing her business outdoors.     Bam-i is a sweet, affectionate little Pomeranian who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. She’ll thrive in a home that understands her preference for human companionship over canine socializing and will reward her family with endless love, cuddles, and adorable smiles.   Could Bam-i be your perfect little companion? Apply today!   Expected to arrive in Toronto in mid-August. We are currently accepting applications only from adopters who can pick her up at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). Story
Meet Wood — 7-year-old Pomeranian | 2.5 kg | 23 cm   Wood is a sweet little Pomeranian who was rescued on July 3 after being neglected in a home. Sadly, by the time he was rescued, one of his eyes was already severely damaged and had to be removed. His teeth had also been left without proper care, and 13 teeth were extracted. Despite everything he has been through, Wood is an incredibly affectionate and easygoing little guy.   With People Wood absolutely loves people! He is friendly not only with those he knows but also with strangers, happily approaching them for attention and rubbing against them. If someone is giving him affection, he may even ask to be picked up. He is comfortable with both men and women and can easily be lifted with an arm under his belly. Once he feels close to you, he’ll even roll over and show his belly.   With Other Dogs Wood will approach unfamiliar dogs to say hello, but he isn’t particularly interested in playing with them. He generally prefers doing his own thing and is especially comfortable around dogs smaller than himself. Even if another dog tries to provoke him, Wood tends to simply move away rather than engage. At heart, he is definitely more of a people dog than a dog’s dog.   With Cats Wood’s reaction to cats has not yet been observed, but a cat test can be arranged upon request.   Energy Level & Walks Wood has a low energy level and is happiest relaxing quietly. Because of the hot weather, he hasn’t had much opportunity for proper walks yet, so his leash skills are still being observed.   At Home Wood currently shows no resource guarding around food with either people or other dogs. He is also doing very well on his own, with no significant separation anxiety or barking observed at this time. As with any rescue dog, his behaviour may change as he transitions into a new home, so a gradual adjustment period is recommended.   He generally does his business outdoors.   Wood at a glance: 7 years old Neutered male Pomeranian 2.5 kg | 23 cm Low energy Very affectionate & people-oriented Calm and independent around other dogs Currently doing well when left alone   Wood may have had a difficult past, but he hasn’t lost his love for people. He’s a tiny, gentle boy who would love nothing more than a comfortable home and someone to adore. Apply to adopt or foster: https://adoptmekr.org  PLEASE ALSO VISIT OUR FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM!
