Teddy was rescued from a puppy mill and later given to my family, as the previous rescuers were unable to keep him. He is estimated to be around 6-8 years old. He is skittish, shy, and very curious— he gets along well with other dogs but is hesitant when it comes to humans. Teddy loves running around, but he is easily frightened and barks when startled. Unfortunately, we cannot afford to neuter him and have to rehome him for his own comfort and the safety of our older females.

A wonderful passerby took the puppy home to care for her until a rescue had the room to take him. Koda is settling in at Rompin Paws Rescue, and he is ready to make someone a fabulous family companion!! Koda looks like he has a long coat. He does not, its soft and fine, not at all thick, just a bit fluffy giving the image he has a dense coat. I would call it short, to medium, soft and fine, Puppy fluff. Koda is a little shy, but curious, and warms up quickly. He would love to have a doggie companion in the home for mentoring and friendship. Koda's estimated adult weight is approximately 30 pounds, based on information we found online. He is either a Pomeranian-German Shepherd or a Elkhound mixed with small breeds because he will not be a large dog based on his 15 pound size at 5 months of age, and the vet confirming his potential size.. Koda will need an adopter who has time to train and care for a growing puppy. Puppies are a lot of work and require dedication to establish boundaries and help them become well-behaved members of the family. He cannot be locked in a crate for hours at a time and be left alone. Koda will do best in a home with an adult, dog-friendly pup who can mentor Koda and be his BFF dog buddy. After a long process of persuasion, Adogs team obtained a relinquishment agreement from their owner and safely rescued both dogs. Thankfully, Boksunga has been adopted and is living a new life, and Bamtori has regained his health with proper medical treatment and care after the rescue. 3⃣ Personality & Characteristics • With People: Loves people — even strangers! Is very friendly and affectionate right away. Easily trusts familiar people and seeks comfort from them. Is a sweet, loving little dog who enjoys being petted and loves to climb into people’s laps for cuddles. • With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. Used to enjoy running and playing with his best friend #AdogsJoseph, who has since been adopted. Is very calm and enjoys his alone time. • With Cats: Lived peacefully with cats at the center. • Separation Anxiety: Since he lives in a group setting at the center, it’s hard to assess precisely. However, seems to do well even when people are not around. • House Training: Currently stays indoors at the center and uses pee pads well. • Grooming: Generally tolerates being handled and groomed quite well. • Car Rides: Relaxes comfortably and rests well during car rides. • Biting: Doesn’t bite at all — is a gentle and calm boy. • Barking: Barks occasionally, which is soft and not bothersome. • Likes: Is a people-loving, friendly dog who greets everyone warmly! • Dislikes: Sometimes gets jealous when others receive attention, due to his affection to people. Is being slowly retrained. * Grooming: Does well with baths. * Walks: Hasn’t had experience with walks yet. * Car Sickness: Has a little bit of car sickness so care is needed. * Biting: Is a kind dog that’s never bitten. * Barking: Doesn’t bark for no reason. * Likes: Likes treats and these are helpful for getting closer to him. * Dislikes: Is scared of loud noises and becomes afraid if you move your hands downwards suddenly. Whines and expresses discomfort if you try to hold him. May have potty accidents if you set him down on the floor in areas with many people or at the vet, but if you hold him with his bottom well supported, he feels safer.
