Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Stormy is a one-of-a-kind Pomeranian/Husky mix with a big personality packed into a small, fluffy package. She came to us after her previous owner realized she wasn’t a good fit for a home with chickens—so she’ll need a home without them, and NO cats. She’s a friendly, outgoing girl who does well with other dogs and loves meeting people. Stormy has a fun, spunky energy and would be happiest in an active home that can keep her busy and engaged. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just being part of the action, she’s all in. Stormy seems to be mostly potty trained, but she may need a little reminder as she adjusts to a new routine. With some consistency, she should settle in just fine. Because of her fluffy coat, Stormy will need someone to stay on top of her brushing and grooming to keep her comfortable and prevent matting.  She’s spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, and current on vaccines. She’s also been given ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, so she’s all set health-wise and ready to go. Her adoption fee is $500. To apply, please visit www.adoggie4you.org and complete an application. Stormy is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and locations along the East Coast. If transport is needed, an additional fee of $225 will apply. Please note that we are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 14, 2026, 4:37 pm

Story
Adopt Bibi   Bibi is a sweet little Pom mix who survived a city shelter euthanasia list and is now waiting for a loving forever home. She may be a little shy at first, but once she trusts you, her affectionate and loyal personality truly shines.   Name: Bibi Age: 6 years Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Pomeranian Mix Color: Black/Brown Weight: 6.2 kg Height: 31 cm   Rescue Story Bibi was rescued from a city shelter before euthanasia.   Personality & Socialization with People Bibi can be slightly shy when meeting new people, but treats quickly help her warm up. Once comfortable, she allows handling easily and becomes very attached to the person caring for her. She enjoys following her trusted people around and has a gentle, affectionate nature. She can be picked up comfortably with arms under her belly, and once bonded, she will even show her tummy. She has not yet been tested with children under 13 years old.   With Other Dogs Bibi politely greets unfamiliar dogs but prefers spending time on her own rather than actively playing. She tends to feel uncomfortable around large dogs or very high-energy, pushy dogs and usually chooses to avoid them.   With Cats When she sees cats during walks, she stays focused on her handler rather than reacting strongly.   Energy Level & Walks During walks with unfamiliar people, Bibi tends to move slowly and focus on sniffing. However, once she bonds with someone, she becomes much more cheerful and enjoys walks happily. After settling in, she walks very well.   Other Notes • No food guarding toward people or dogs • Quiet and calm personality • No separation anxiety observed • Calm inside a kennel/crate • Nervous about getting into cars and prefers being carried in • Currently uses both pee pads indoors and potty outdoors   Bibi would do best in a calm and patient home that can give her time to build trust and confidence at her own pace. Once she opens her heart, she becomes a truly loving companion. Apply to adopt or foster: https://adoptmekr.org  Please also visit our Facebook and Instagram! She was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea, where dogs spend their lives producing puppies instead of being loved as family members. Now Polly is safe, cared for, and ready to discover what a real home feels like. At six years old, Polly is calm, affectionate, and happiest in peaceful environments where she can relax and feel secure. She enjoys soft beds, quiet companionship, and simply being near people who are kind to her. Though her past was difficult, Polly’s heart is still open and ready to bond deeply with someone special. ✨ Polly is looking for a patient, loving foster or forever home where she can finally enjoy the comfort and stability she’s always deserved. Adoption Information Polly’s adoption fee is $1,695, a non-refundable donation that helps support ongoing rescue efforts and save more dogs in need. It includes: • Spay • Vaccinations • Microchip • Boarding and daily care • Health certificate • Transport to Seattle ✈️ A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you may bring your own or purchase one from us. Story
Meet Teddy! Little Teddy is a pomeranian male, around 6 years old. We're not sure exactly what his life was like before he came to us, but it could not have been a very happy one. Teddy arrived very fearful and shut down, not at all interested in having humans touch him. He has spent the last few months in one of our wonderful foster homes and he has made so much progress! It is lovely to see him gain confidence and become more trusting. There is still work to be done and Teddy will do best in a home with someone who is willing to earn his trust and go at his speed.  From his foster mom: Teddy is a truly special boy looking for a patient, understanding home where he can continue to blossom. When he first arrived, he was very frightened of people—unsure of touch and too overwhelmed to fully open up. While humans were a mystery to him, Teddy has always found comfort and joy in the company of other dogs. Having another friendly dog in the home is a must for Teddy and his continued progress.  With time, consistency, and gentle care, Teddy has made incredible progress. He’s grown from a pup who couldn’t be touched into a loyal companion who now happily accompanies me everywhere—whether it’s riding in the car, going to work, or just being nearby. He’s still a bit awkward when being picked up or petted, but that’s only because he’s learning, step by step, what love and safety truly feel like. These days, Teddy sleeps on the bed and will even come up on his own, softly tapping with his paw to ask for affection. It’s a small gesture that speaks volumes about how far he’s come. Beneath his shyness is a heart full of love, just waiting for the right person to help it shine. Teddy would thrive in a calm, patient home that understands his unique journey and is willing to let him adjust at his own pace. In return, he promises quiet companionship, growing trust, and the kind of bond that only comes from earning the love of a once-shy dog. Teddy is vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $450. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Milo is a lively and playful 9-yo white and sable Pomeranian who would be ideal for a single person, couple, or family with older children. I adopted him in 2020 when my parents passed. We've been on many road trips, a 6 month trip to Kenya, and multiple moves. He's a great little travel companion, and at only 11 pounds, he's portable! I think he'd be happier and live longer in a more stable environment.Like most Poms, Milo is always on security detail, keeping you safe. He's always been an only dog, but might enjoy a sibling. He has many canine friends and loves walks. If you have a yard, even better! He loves to be outdoors, surveying his domain. He will follow you everywhere when you are near. He's very loyal and fun to hang out with.Milo has some health conditions: a heart murmur and collapsing trachea. He is stable, but will need daily medication. The optional adoption fee includes medication, leashes, treats, carriers, beds, etc. I can lower the fee under the right circumstances.
