Story
Everly Buttercup Kiss seeks audience members to ooo and ahhh over her adorable tricks and cute antics. Estimated to be around 5 years old, this spectacular little black fluff ball appears to be a Pomeranian and German Spitz mix, though with rescue dogs that's simply our best educated guess. She may look like an elegant puff of fur from across the room, but don't let the glamorous coat fool you. Everly is equal parts circus performer, professional smooch distributor, road trip companion, and champion cuddle bug, all bundled into one wonderfully well-rounded little dog. Go watch Everly on YouTube, then come right back to read more. You'll see her happy little tricks, her confident personality, and perhaps most importantly, the enthusiasm she brings to absolutely everything. https://youtu.be/uMovnDhTPCs Everly has the kind of personality that makes living with a dog feel delightfully interactive. Ask for a trick and she's ready to perform. Sit? Easy. Shake? Of course. Spin? Happily. Down? She's got that covered too. She's food motivated, eager to be involved, and clearly enjoys learning just as much as she enjoys earning the treat at the end. Every day comes with its own tiny performance, and she's more than happy to be the star of the show. When she's not showing off her repertoire, she's busy making sure everyone receives an appropriate number of kisses. Everly is wonderfully affectionate without being overwhelming. She genuinely enjoys being close to her people, happily snuggling beside you after an adventure or curling up in bed at night, which is admittedly her preferred sleeping arrangement. She'll tolerate a crate when needed during the day, but if given the choice, she'd much rather consider herself an official member of the cozy-spaces committee. For all her playful personality, Everly is remarkably easy to live with. She's house trained, rides beautifully in the car, walks confidently on leash, and settles into new places with the kind of confidence that makes taking her almost anywhere feel effortless. She especially enjoys riding up front where she can supervise the journey, keep you company between destinations, and deliver her signature smooches every few miles. She also has excellent social skills. Everly enjoys other dogs and is happy sharing her world with them, though she isn't particularly interested in turning every interaction into a play session. She prefers friendly coexistence over constant play, making her an easy addition to homes with other respectful dogs. She hasn't had the opportunity to meet cats yet, but based on the gentle, easygoing nature we've seen from her, we suspect she'd likely approach a feline housemate with the same polite curiosity she shows everyone else, but any introductions should still be thoughtful and gradual. Although she isn't currently living with young children, she's been wonderful around pre-teens, and from everything we've seen, we believe she'd likely make a lovely companion for a family with kind, respectful kids. The only thing Everly isn't especially suited for is apartment living. She can be a vocal little commentator from time to time, and while we happen to think she has plenty of worthwhile opinions, shared walls may not appreciate hearing all of them. Some dogs specialize in one thing. Everly somehow manages to be a little bit of everything. She's clever enough to keep teaching, affectionate enough to keep cuddling, confident enough to tag along almost anywhere, and easy enough to fit beautifully into everyday life. If you've been hoping for a dog with personality, polish, and just the right amount of theatrical flair, Everly is already warming up for her encore. Ready to welcome Everly home? Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi, my name is Enzo and I am a wonderful 3  year-old male Pompitz (pomeranian-spitz) mix) and I weigh 11  lbs.    I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in Korea, where dogs like me endure unimaginable cruelty and hardship. Thankfully, compassionate rescuers saved me and gave me the chance to experience something I’d never known before, hope.  I’m a gentle and affectionate companion who loves being around people, including kind children. I get along well with other dogs and would enjoy a family who can shower me with attention and affection.  I’d do best in a home with a family who understands that rescued dogs need patience and time to adjust.    We recommend working with our skilled pet rescue trainer. My adoption fee of  $1,495 (tax-deductible and essential for supporting future rescues) c  overs Spay/Neuter.    DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations,  Deworming and Heartworm testing,  Microchipping,  Boarding fees, health certificate, and airline transport from Korea to Seattle.    For safety, all adopted dogs must have a GPS tracker or Apple AirTag. You can bring your own or purchase one from us.    Your support allows Ginger’s Pet Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to continue its lifesaving work and provide critical medical care for animals in  need.    Email  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  to request an adoption application or to learn more about me. Donations to help with vet bills at Greenwood Vet are always appreciated—they make rescues like mine possible.     August 30, 2026, 11:05 pm

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi! My name is Lulabelle, and I came all the way from Korea in hopes of finding my forever home. I am a 6-year-old Pomeranian girl and weigh about 12 lbs — small, fluffy, and full of charm. (My age and weight are estimated.) I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea, and now I’m waiting for my chance to travel to Seattle. To make this possible, I need a foster home to welcome me when I arrive. Once I’m here, I’ll also be looking for my forever adoptive home filled with love and care. So far, I have not shown any issues with other dogs, children, or people — but every dog may respond differently when settling into a new home. My adoption fee of $1,695 is a donation that is non-refundable and helps save the lives of other dogs in need. It covers my spay, vaccinations, microchip, boarding fees, health certificate, and transport costs from Korea to Seattle. A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you can bring your own or purchase one from us. We do not guarantee the breed or age of our dogs. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, and all adoption fees are donations that help more dogs get their second chance. If you think you can open your heart to a very special girl like me, please fill out an adoption or foster application on my page at www.gingerspetrescue.org .March 7, 2026, 8:59 pm

Story
Meet Wood — 7-year-old Pomeranian | 2.5 kg | 23 cm   Wood is a sweet little Pomeranian who was rescued on July 3 after being neglected in a home. Sadly, by the time he was rescued, one of his eyes was already severely damaged and had to be removed. His teeth had also been left without proper care, and 13 teeth were extracted. Despite everything he has been through, Wood is an incredibly affectionate and easygoing little guy.   With People Wood absolutely loves people! He is friendly not only with those he knows but also with strangers, happily approaching them for attention and rubbing against them. If someone is giving him affection, he may even ask to be picked up. He is comfortable with both men and women and can easily be lifted with an arm under his belly. Once he feels close to you, he’ll even roll over and show his belly.   With Other Dogs Wood will approach unfamiliar dogs to say hello, but he isn’t particularly interested in playing with them. He generally prefers doing his own thing and is especially comfortable around dogs smaller than himself. Even if another dog tries to provoke him, Wood tends to simply move away rather than engage. At heart, he is definitely more of a people dog than a dog’s dog.   With Cats Wood’s reaction to cats has not yet been observed, but a cat test can be arranged upon request.   Energy Level & Walks Wood has a low energy level and is happiest relaxing quietly. Because of the hot weather, he hasn’t had much opportunity for proper walks yet, so his leash skills are still being observed.   At Home Wood currently shows no resource guarding around food with either people or other dogs. He is also doing very well on his own, with no significant separation anxiety or barking observed at this time. As with any rescue dog, his behaviour may change as he transitions into a new home, so a gradual adjustment period is recommended.   He generally does his business outdoors.   Wood at a glance: 7 years old Neutered male Pomeranian 2.5 kg | 23 cm Low energy Very affectionate & people-oriented Calm and independent around other dogs Currently doing well when left alone   Wood may have had a difficult past, but he hasn’t lost his love for people. He’s a tiny, gentle boy who would love nothing more than a comfortable home and someone to adore. Apply to adopt or foster: https://adoptmekr.org  PLEASE ALSO VISIT OUR FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM!
