Arlo is a beautiful Pomeranian mix puppy who is getting a fresh start after being found as a stray by Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission. He’ll be arriving at our shelter tomorrow, and we’re hoping to have a loving home ready and waiting for him! Because Arlo was found as a stray and has not yet arrived in our care, we don’t have any background history on him yet. What we do know is that he’s a puppy, which means he’s full of potential and ready to learn. With proper introductions, Arlo will likely do well with other dogs, cats, and kids. As a young dog, Arlo will need a family committed to continuing his basic training, positive socialization, and confidence-building so he can grow into a well-adjusted adult. He’ll also need adopters who are ready to keep up with his gorgeous, long, thick coat, which will require regular grooming and brushing to keep him looking and feeling his best. ✨ Early applications are now being accepted! Our goal is to keep Arlo out of the shelter environment and have approved adopters lined up before he even arrives. If you’re ready for the joys of puppyhood—and a fluffy companion to match—Arlo may be the perfect addition to your family.
