Meet Martin 🐾
Martin is a nearly 5-year-old Labrador Retriever/Husky mix with a heart as big as his adorable smile, and those striking eyes are just the beginning of his charm! This sweet boy is the definition of a cuddle bug. He loves being close to his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to keep you company.
Martin thrives on routine and settles in beautifully once he knows what to expect. At night, he sleeps soundly and, while the kennel isn’t his favorite place, he’s learning to go to his spot when it’s bedtime like a good boy. He’s still building his confidence, so a patient, loving home will help him continue to blossom.
He does great with other dogs and enjoys playtime, even if he can get a little vocal when he’s having fun—it’s all excitement, no attitude! Martin has no resource guarding issues and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He’s more about love than anything else.
While in a foster home, Martin showed that he is calm and well-mannered. He’s not the type to bounce off the walls and is generally relaxed, especially if he has his toys to keep him occupied. He’s curious but not destructive, making him an easy companion to live with.
Martin would do best in a home where he can have his people nearby, a few good toys, and a yard to enjoy. Most of all, he just wants to be loved: and he’ll give that love right back tenfold.
