Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting Ella! Ella was surrendered to a local vet veterinarian. The owner said she wasn't good with the new small dog in their home. The vet said Ella was there first. She was in boarding for two months when our vet asked if we could find her a foster and get her out of the clinic. She'll be 4 years old this summer and weighs 60-65 pounds and won't grow larger. Ella has done well with the dogs she lives with, including dogs at the dog park. She lives in a home with cats that are kept separate from the dogs. Foster Mom thinks she could chase a cat. Ella is house trained and crate trained. She enjoys leash walks around her Foster's neighborhood and hiking on the weekends. She's great on trails and she loves to cool off in a creek. If you have an active home life that includes your dog or you are an active person, Ella could be a good fit for you. She's not a couch potato, but she does know how to settle. She has not lived with young children that we are aware, so we are going to recommend school age kids or teenagers. Ella's Adoption includes Spay, rabies, other vaccines, microchip, dewormed, and receiving monthly parasite prevention.

Story
Meet Martin 🐾 Martin is a nearly 5-year-old Labrador Retriever/Husky mix with a heart as big as his adorable smile, and those striking eyes are just the beginning of his charm! This sweet boy is the definition of a cuddle bug. He loves being close to his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to keep you company. Martin thrives on routine and settles in beautifully once he knows what to expect. At night, he sleeps soundly and, while the kennel isn’t his favorite place, he’s learning to go to his spot when it’s bedtime like a good boy. He’s still building his confidence, so a patient, loving home will help him continue to blossom. He does great with other dogs and enjoys playtime, even if he can get a little vocal when he’s having fun—it’s all excitement, no attitude! Martin has no resource guarding issues and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He’s more about love than anything else. While in a foster home, Martin showed that he is calm and well-mannered. He’s not the type to bounce off the walls and is generally relaxed, especially if he has his toys to keep him occupied. He’s curious but not destructive, making him an easy companion to live with. Martin would do best in a home where he can have his people nearby, a few good toys, and a yard to enjoy. Most of all, he just wants to be loved: and he’ll give that love right back tenfold. 💙 Special Note: Martin is heartworm positive, but don’t worry! His treatment is fully covered by the rescue. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate best friend who will stick by your side through it all, Martin might just be your perfect match.

Hes a sweet Big Boi who needs alot of attention and exercise! I havent had any problems with him other than he could use some more basic training. I have a couple cats at home and he gets along with them just fine. He showed up on my doorstep not too long ago and needs someone who can take him on walks and having a fenced back yard would be great for him to run around in!

Story
We got Jack from a reputable breeder in our area. He was born December 29th, 2017. He was born with a deformed right eye. We had it removed around 6 months after he was born, along with surgically repairing/replacing the lens in his left eye. Now he's one-eyed Jack! Jack has been a fantastic dog. My favorite dog I've ever owned. Before our twins were born, we would hike together, play in the river, go on long walks, and he'd even sleep in our bed occasionally. But after the twins were born (2022) it became harder and harder to give him the attention he deserves. He's well fed and has a large backyard to play in and prefers to be outside most of the time now, especially in cool or cold weather. But with our kids growing, and our available time with Jack shrinking, we need to surrender or rehome him. We've tried local organizations and adoption agencies but haven't had much luck. We'd love to connect with his new owners to ensure he goes to a loving home.

Story
Meet Marley 💛 Marley is a happy, playful girl with a fun-loving personality and a curious mind. She’s the kind of dog who is always ready to explore, learn, and be part of whatever is going on. Friendly and outgoing, she settles in quickly and does great with dogs of all sizes. She would truly thrive in a home with another dog to help show her the ropes and keep her confidence growing. She’s wonderful with kids, rides great in the car, and already has a solid foundation being both crate trained and housetrained. Marley is still young at heart and benefits from structure and consistency, but she’s eager to learn and responds well when given guidance. With a little direction, she’s going to turn into an absolutely incredible companion. Marley is also cat curious, so slow introductions would be best, but her interest is more inquisitive than anything. She’s such a little doll with a bright, happy spirit and so much potential. With the right home to continue guiding her, she’s going to shine. Her adoption fee is $300 and includes her spay, vaccines, parasite prevention, and a microchip. Story
If you're looking for a loving companion, Nola is your girl! She is a 3 yo mixed breed who has been a deeply loved member of our family since puppyhood. She is affectionate and gets along great with adults, children, & our other large dogs. Beyond being a sweet soul, she also is fully house-trained, smart, and learns quickly. Because Nola is such an amazing dog, our decision to rehome her has been incredibly difficult. This decision is due to a recent incident involving one of our cats. After peacefully living with our cats for years, it appears Nola has developed a strong prey drive toward small animals. Recently, when another dog chased one of our cats, Nola reacted to the fast movement as prey rather than recognizing our cat as her housemate. We love her deeply, but we must prioritize the safety of our resident cats. Nola deserves a home where she can be loved for exactly who she is, a big-hearted, loyal companion who simply needs a small-animal-free environment to thrive.

Story
❄️Lobo❄️ This handsome guy is Lobo ❤️ He is a gorgeous white Husky with piercing blue eyes. Lobo is a total sweetheart but he is a typical Husky who needs an experienced owner and a sturdy fence. Lobo is a big, strong boy who loves playing outside but also also enjoys being a couch potato and watching tv while he enjoys a good chew bone. Lobo is doing well with his house training and is good in his secure crate. He is fine with other dogs with proper introductions and loves every person he meets. He can still get a bit excited when meeting new people and may need to be reminded of how big he is. Lobo would be best as a companion dog where he can go on fun hikes and walks or runs where he can got out his Husky energy. He would be fine with older children but might be a bit to rambunctious for young children. If this boy sounds like the perfect fit for your lifestyle, please submit an application. Lobo can’t wait to meet his forever family and start his new life.
