PLEASE NOTE - Adopt-a-pet does not have Klee Kai as a breed option. We do not believe she is a Pomsky, as she is 25 lbs. She is believed to be a Klee Kai mix.
Meet Lily! Don’t let her petite size fool you, because Lily has a HUGE personality packed into her 25-pound body! This adorable 2 year old Klee Kai mix looks like a miniature Husky and has all the fun, silly, energetic personality you could hope for in a little northern-breed girl.
Lily was found as a stray in Houston, Texas, and ended up in a big, scary, high-kill shelter. Thankfully, we were able to rescue her and give her the chance to leave that stressful environment behind. Now she is ready to trade her kennel for a forever home where she can truly be herself!

"Lily is super sweet, friendly, and full of life. This petite girl is a very happy, playful, high-energy, silly little lady who likes to talk like a husky! She has plenty of personality and absolutely loves being part of the action. Lily would be so happy in an active home that likes to walk, hike, explore, play, and let her be her wonderfully lively self. Once she's had the chance to get her zoomies out, she'll be more than happy to hang out with her people and soak up the attention."
Lily has so much to offer and is going to make an incredibly fun and entertaining companion for the lucky family who gets to bring her home. She has already spent enough time in a scary shelter. Now this adorable little Klee Kai / Mini Husky deserves a home where her big personality can shine!
We'd like to place Lily in a home where she'll get consistent stimulation, exercise and love. A (virtual or in-person) positive reinforcement training class promotes great behavior, bonding and confidence. Training is so important in the future behaviors of every dog. It's for this reason that we're unwilling to adopt to a family that doesn't make this loving choice. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of both in-person and virtual positive reinforcement / force- free trainers in your area.
Lily is up to date on her vaccinations, has been fully vetted, is healthy, heartworm negative, and is spayed.
Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial.
Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out 400 dogs each year.
