Story
Cub is the coolest dog ever, a little celebrity everywhere he goes. Unfortunately I cannot keep him stuck in an apartment and I simply was not fully prepared to take on a husky. Cub has made great progress with training, he walks like a dream on a leash, no pulling and listens well on-leash. Cub loves a good belly rub and nap after a walk but he definitely needs his exercise. He struggles a bit home alone, I'd strongly recommend crate training from day one. He would also benefit from a yard and a 6' fence. I also think he would love to be part of a pack with another well-balanced dog(s) to guide him. When I adopted Cub, he was listed as a poodle/chow-chow mix. A DNA test revealed over 50% husky along with chunks of Alaskan Malamute, Gray Wolf, and GSD. He is definitely everything you'd expect in a husky. One of the coolest dogs I've ever had to met but I was not expecting a husky and can't keep up with him. If you're up for husky ownership, Cub could be the perfect dog for you!

Story
Zeus is such a sweet special boy. He was initially very shy and timid but is opening up more and more each day. He thrives outdoors! His happy place is a shady spot in the yard or walking around on his leash. He is strong but does well with a good harness. He likes his kennel and sleeps through the night in it. He has done well with our dog and has not barked at the neighbor dogs through the fence. He is so calm and gentle, even when my 1yr old puppy wants to play non stop! Zeus is potty trained! He’ll let you know when he’s ready to go out. ##2418725##

Story
Hey, I'm Rex!I love playing with other dogs and hanging with my foster parents. I even snuck into the neighbors yard to play with their dogs. I’m pretty good on leash but I’m excited to see the world so I pull a bit. All toys are fun to play with especially when I can share the toy with my foster sister. I like my potbelly pig brother but he didn’t appreciate my enthusiasm so I’m learning to tone it down. I’m good with dog doors and going potty outside. I’m ready to be your hiking, running and adventure buddy! ##2418692##

Story
Zena is a sweet and gentle mixed-breed puppy with a calm, loving nature. She enjoys playing with her sister Zara but is also content to relax on a dog bed with her favorite toy. Zena is a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she becomes a loyal and affectionate companion. She loves to be held and has the softest coat—perfect for cuddles. Zena is currently pad trained but has not yet learned to go potty outside, so she will need continued house-training support. She is just beginning to learn about harnesses and leashes and will benefit from positive, patient guidance as she gains confidence. Zena eats kibble from Petco and is doing well in her foster home. She does well with new people and other dogs, though her behavior around children, cats, and other pets is still unknown. Her energy level ranges from medium to high, with bursts of playfulness followed by quiet rest. Zena would thrive in a loving home that can offer her a steady routine, gentle training, and plenty of affection. If you're looking for a calm, cuddly, and devoted puppy, Zena may be just the companion you're looking for. Apply to meet her today. ##2385077##

Story
Zara is a young mixed-breed puppy with a bright personality and a heart full of love. Outgoing and friendly, she enjoys playing with her sister Zina and especially loves squeaky toys. Zara is currently pad trained but is still learning to go potty outside, so she’ll benefit from continued house-training. She hasn’t been introduced to a leash or harness yet and will need some guidance as she learns. Zara eats kibble from Petco and is thriving in her foster home. She does very well with new people and other dogs, though her behavior around children, cats, and other pets is still unknown. Zara is very smart and curious—so smart, in fact, that she can jump over baby gates unless they’re extra tall. Like many puppies, she’s full of energy and always exploring, so it’s best to keep books and valuables up high and out of reach. Zara will make a wonderful addition to a home ready to provide her with love, structure, and continued training. If you’re looking for a playful and devoted companion, Zara could be the perfect fit. Apply to meet her today. ##2385074##

Story
I acquired Winnie from Foothills Animal Shelter in summer of 2024 she was intended to be a second dog in my home and companion to my existing husky mix. They played and were fine for a couple weeks before they got into their first fight, then a couple more have happened over the last year and a half. She is such a loving and playful dog, she just needs to be in a home without another dog and probably no cats, I’ve never had her around cats, but can imagine she wouldn’t like them. She’s my little Velcro dog, super goofy and loving, I hate to give her up but her and my husky can’t be left alone anymore. They’re fine if we’re around, but I would highly recommend she’s the only dog in your home. She has 1 blue 1 brown eye, super fast and athletic, loves to walk and run, she’s off leash trained with me, but cautious and on leash around other dogs. If I didn’t have my other dog first I would keep her. You’ll love her, full of character. She’s also about 4 years old. Healthy and up to date

Story
This is Ghost, She is a sweet loving doggo, she loves cuddles playing outside and walks. She is full of energy and loves to play with her sister. Her birthday is 10/31/2018 making her 6.5 years old and a Halloween baby! We have had her since she was about 6 months old and has never been without another doggo around. she has separation anxiety from her sister. She is good about using the restroom outside. She loves to run and chew on bones we like to spoil her and her sister with soup bones. She is good with cats with a slow introduction. It saddens me to have to find her a new home but she deserves a home she can run free with her sister and get all the love she deserves. We are looking for a home that can take her and her sister, will be able to give them the time and attention they deserve. Their ideal home would be someone who could give them a lot of exercise and time outside as they both love to run She is part of a bonded pair with her Sister Khaleesi
