Story
Hi there! My name is Archilles, and I’m a handsome white husky with striking blue eyes that people say are impossible to forget. I’m about 5 years old, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines, so I’m all ready to find my forever home.
I’m a very social boy who loves meeting new people and making dog friends wherever I go. When we’re out and about, I’m usually excited to say hello to everyone! I also do well around kids—I tend to just happily coexist and go along for the adventure. Walks are one of my favorite things, and I’m great on a leash. The best part is that birds and cats don’t really interest me when we pass them on walks, so I stay focused on enjoying the stroll with you.
I’m great with other dogs and have played nicely with both small and large pups. I’d be happy joining a home with another dog, but I’d also do just fine as your one-and-only best friend. I’m pretty adaptable and even do well with condo or apartment living—elevators, stairs, and busy areas don’t bother me at all.
At home, I’m quite the gentleman. I’m crate trained (just say “kennel” and I know exactly where to go), potty trained, and I’ll go right to the door when I need to go outside. I’m also a smart boy and already know sit, shake, down, and come, and I’m learning speak and stay too. I love learning new things, especially when it means spending time with my people.
Now, I do have a couple of little quirks. Sometimes I get a bit of motion sickness in the car, and I also have a funny habit of collecting random treasures in my dog bed. I like to keep my little stash there, but don’t worry—I’m not territorial about it at all, so you can tidy up my “collection” whenever you want.
More than anything, I’m a sweet, friendly husky looking for a family to share walks, adventures, and lots of love with. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with striking blue eyes and a big heart, I might just be the perfect match for you.
