Meet Akon! This handsome 8 year old Pomsky is looking for a place to call home after losing his dad earlier this year. He is currently staying with family who love him very much but, sadly, they can not keep him. Akon is a really sweet boy. He's happy hanging out with his human, going for walks and chewing on his favorite bone while watching a good show on TV..... while resting his head on their lap. :) Akon is over 30 pounds now, but this gorgeous blue eyed boy has increased his daily steps so he can get back to his ideal 20 - 25 pound weight. A few less snacks and a few more carrots are helping as well. Akon lives in New Port Richey, Florida.Akon is approx 7 years old. He is a very loving and protective dog. Housetrained and always lets you know when he has to go out. Loves to play. He was actually my granddaughters dog but i somehow ended up with him when she had a baby and moved. No one comes to my house without me knowing it. Very loving. I hope someone who needs a loving dog finds it in their heart to take him in. I am 70 now I do have health issues but will be doing a lot of traveling in the near future and do not feel it is fair to board him when he is used to being free in his home.
