Story
She's 9 years old. I had her since she was a puppy. She's a Husky /shepherd mix. She's Good with kids and loves to exercise. She gets along with most dogs. She was diagnosed with anxiety / separation anxiety, but that doesn't stop her being happy. She doesn't like crates if left alone in the house, she does well in it if there's someone at home that she can see from her crate, but she rather be roaming around . She's not a cuddler, but she loves belly rubs, playing with toys, and being in the same room as you. Unfortunately, I can no longer keep her. Covid has greatly impacted my health and has caused me to have breathing problems that are triggered by my allergies to her. These allergies affect my skin and breathing and has made my asthma uncontrollable especially after covid. Besides my health, I work and go to school full time, so I can no longer give her the quality of life and affection that she deserves. She needs a family that is willing to love her and care for her.

Story
Looking for foster to adopt or adopter. Looking for a fun, easy going pal? C is your guy!! This guy is ~3 yrs old, 70 lbs, All vetted C is a typical German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix with the smarts and eager to please GSD attributes combined with the Husky ‘class clown’ personality. He is very people oriented, friendly, eager to please, knows most of his basic commands, walks OK on leash and loves attention. He is quite the ‘talker’ and will sass you back whenever things are not being done to his satisfaction – LOL. Like most Huskies, he will escape given the opportunity and needs plenty of exercise. C is playful with most other (medium to large) dogs. Would also be happy as only pet. Adoption Fees Adoption fees help cover expenses for all the dogs while in the rescue program including the vet check, microchip, vaccines, heartworm testing, fecal check, broken bones, illness, spay/neuter plus other necessary veterinary care with medications and training to get the dog ready for adoption. Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to come and meet the dogs. We work BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Interested in this dog? Please request an application from Lenore, send an email to darkrain1234@gmail.com   July 25, 2024, 10:48 am

Story
My husband and I picked up Sky from a home in Miami. The couple couldn’t have him because of his size and they had to let him go. He was around 4 months when we picked him up. He is now 7 years old. Why we are deciding to re-home our dog is because we have a 13 month old daughter and she loves sky. But my husband works long hours and he is very strong for me to walk him on my own with the baby. And it’s getting more and more difficult to take him out and fill his needs. I want a home that can satisfy his needs. We think it’s a good idea to re-home him and find a better life for him. We are not happy about this choice but I feel like we are being selfish on keeping him. He truly is an amazing dog. He loves kids. He’s been around them since we had him. He is okay with cats. He won’t hurt them but he does like to chase them. He is very vocal. He loves to talk and play catch. He is a very calm dog. And very smart.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the adoption process and to complete an adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Hi, I'm Jewel! I'm a unique and independent husky girl who marches to the beat of my own drum. At around 35 pounds, I'm smaller than your typical husky, but I'm full of love and personality! Here's a little bit about me: Social Butterfly: I adore other dogs and get along with all types of personalities and be in a home with another dog, as I love to play.. I'm a natural peacemaker and love to help my furry friends feel comfortable. Quiet Companion: You won't hear much from me! I'm the quietest husky you'll ever meet. Gentle with Cats: I'm respectful around cats and even their litter boxes. But don't let that fool you, I love chasing squirrels and bunnies in the yard! Affectionate and Loving: I crave belly rubs, ear scratches, and all the attention you can give me. I also enjoy being brushed, but will politely let you know when I've had enough. Adventurous Spirit: I love to explore and go on walks. I'm still figuring out my favorite toys, but I enjoy squeaky ones and playing tug-of-war with my friends. Quick Learner: I'm eager to please and learn new things, especially when it involves playtime or outdoor adventures. What I Need in a Home: Daily brushing: To keep my beautiful coat healthy and shiny. Plenty of engagement: I love to play, walk, and spend time outside. Keep me entertained, and I'll be your happy-go-lucky companion. Positive reinforcement: I respond best to gentle guidance and praise. I'm quick to learn new things! A securely fenced yard: To keep me safe while I chase those squirrels. Lots of love: Because I'm a total cuddle bug! If you're looking for a loving, gentle, and unique husky girl, I might be the perfect match for you! Located in Pinellas County, Florida.
