Story
I rehomed Baxter about 4 years ago, he was just a puppy and wasn’t getting the love he deserved. He wasn’t fed properly, he was not cared for very well he actually bit and was very aggressive when I got him. He now doesn’t bite at all, is great with my one year old son and is the most lovable dog ever! He has severe separation anxiety and also is extremely calm and relaxed all of the time when he is around someone. However, any time he is left alone he freaks out and goes to the bathroom in the house, he also will make his way out of every cage I’ve tried or will hurt himself trying to get out that’s why I rarely put him in a cage and it requires me to bring him everywhere or stay with him which with a one year old is almost impossible and this is why I’m looking to rehome unfortunately because he’s all around a great dog and just needs extreme love and attention.

Story
Milo has been with us for over 3 yrs., since he was a 6 week puppy. He was a wedding gift from my husband to me so you can imagine how difficult it is for us to have to rehome him. Milo is a good boy and extremely playful. Milo was recently diagnosed with seizures which seemed to have been out of nowhere. He’s now taking meds and we put him on a prescription veterinary diet. We have a 13 month baby and have another baby on the way. My husband has been working a lot lately and with the pregnancy we are unable to provide Milo with the time and support he needs. We are looking to rehome Milo to a family that is willing to care for him and shower him with love. We’re looking for a family that is capable of financially caring for him as his medications and diet food can be costly. We are not looking for any financial compensation for Milo. We just want him to find his forever home.

Meet Dasher - a dashing four year old Siberian Husky who is looking for an active home that can keep up with his Siberian antics. Dash has been with us for a couple of years. We're never in a hurry to "settle" for just any home and we knew Dash had some very specific needs. He had no manners when we met him. He liked other dogs but had no dog skills so his reactions were often misleading. Eventually, with the patient guidance of his breed experienced foster family he learned how to be a dog other dogs would want to be around. With that said, he would probably do best in a home where he receives all of the attention. Dash is mischievous so he'll require a vigilant home willing to keep treasured items out of his reach. This handsome guy has an overabundance of energy that needs to be well managed by a Siberian experienced adopter. He'll need to be exercised daily but that could eliminate your need for the health club membership! Due to his intensity, he cannot be placed in a home with children. With all of that said, Dasher has improved tremendously in his foster home. He is now appearing at various public events and is always a fan favorite. If you would like more information about this great dog please submit an application and his foster home will contact you. We have no doubt Dash will thrive in the right home that is committed to keeping him busy! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, microchipped, vaccinated, and evaluated in a private home. Please be sure you meet the qualifications we have listed for the dog you would like to adopt. No exceptions are made regarding the dog's requirements and we take our time to find the perfect home. No dogs are shown without an approved application. We do not have a kennel facility. All of our dogs are fostered and evaluated in experienced private homes.

What's it like walking next to a movie star in downtown Philadelphia? For those of you who recently participated in Philadelphia's Cherry Blossom festival, besides seeing the flowers and eating tasty treats, did you happen to see a Husky Mix that was meeting with his fans? As cinema buffs of Japanese anime cartoon "Spirited Away" thought that Kane resembled the wolf in that movie, in the video one can see how our Husky Mix (whose face resembles a wolf) gets along with other dogs and people. Kane is currently in foster care to get a break from the shelter.
