Story
Sky is a 10 year old Siberian Husky. I’m looking for a loving home for her. She loves chew toys, bones, and tons of cuddles. She might have a slight addition to belly rubs lol. Sky is fully house trained and very friendly with people, including young children. She takes a while to warm up to other dogs, but once she does, she is just as loving and cuddly. If you have any additional questions, just let me know. I look forward to hearing from you.

Story
Patti is uptodate on all vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and heartworm negative. She is timid and shy at first but will warm up to her humans once she gets to know and trust you. She was found as a stray in Alabama when she showed up at the back door of a home frightened. She seemed to be looking for a door to enter and a human to comfort her. She is extremely sweet and loving but has to be given time to open up to her humans. She is listed as a Huskymix but she is small for a Husky, weighing only in the mid forties. She is very young, estimated to be between one and two years old. Please consider giving Patti a chance to join your family. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please email: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com You can also visit our website Rpacirescue.org to fill out an adoption application

(*Please note that the specific event pages are typically updated on Fridays with information on which dogs will be attending which events*.) Meet Milo, the charming Husky with a heart as big as his fluffy coat! This laid-back, affectionate guy loves cuddling and being close to his favorite humans. While he enjoys his personal space, Milo is a true people dog at heart and is always ready for some gentle pets, belly rubs, and snuggles. He’s also the perfect walking buddy—easy to harness, calm on the leash, and polite with other dogs. Milo is a calm, well-mannered boy who loves car rides, takes treats gently, and knows commands like sit and shake paws. He may not chase balls, but he enjoys life at his own pace, often just soaking in the moment. He’d love a home with a backyard to stretch his legs and spend quiet time with his family. Milo is housetrained, and prefers there is someone with him at all times (he gets husky-lonely), his sweet nature and gentle ways will quickly win you over. If you're looking for a relaxed, loving companion with a heart of gold, Milo could be the perfect match! Come meet this sweet boy and see if he’s the one for you!

Story
Selene is about 2 yrs old, 35lbs, spayed, up to date on vaccines, potty trained, microchipped, loves her daily structured walks, and is learning commands! She was picked up as a stray in Southern CA by control officers with catchpoles, and tossed into one of the highest-kill shelters in America. She was Urgent/Deadlined with a scheduled euthanasia time (due to no space and the homeless pet crisis). So, she came to us across the country; so that we could foster her here! Thank you to the 501c3 rescue for tagging her! If you are interested in adopting her, live in the DMV area, have Husky experience, utilize positive reinforcement training, have a very active lifestyle, and want to spoil her too - let us know! Selene is still gaining her confidence with new people and animals. Since she's been with us, she's learned how to walk on a leash, play with toys, and knows her name, sit, shake, lay down, come, etc! She is very sweet, intelligent, silly, fun, and just a wonderful dog!
