Story
Hi, I’m Munchy! I’m a Female Pug, approximately 16 months old. I’m spayed, vaccinated and fully house and kennel trained. I’m looking for my FURever home, ideally a family willing to accept my puppy energy and take me on walks, I’m great on a leash. I LOVE my toys and playing tug o’ war. I get very excited about playtime but I also love to cuddle up to my foster mom for belly rubs and naps. I get protective of my food so I need to be fed separately, and not free fed. I get along with other dogs and kids, not sure about cats. Aprox 10 pounds $400 adoption fee

Story
Available for Adoption! (Photo of Mom in the comments.) Meet Patricia, a sweet little bundle of love looking for her forever home! Patricia is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful black muzzle, a striking stripe down her back, and an adorable curled tail that makes us think she may have some Pug in her family tree. This happy, friendly girl is a joy to be around. She’s playful, energetic, and full of personality, yet she’s also perfectly content entertaining herself. Patricia’s fun, sassy nature keeps everyone smiling, while her gentle, affectionate side makes her an excellent cuddle buddy. One of Patricia’s favorite things is snuggling up in a warm lap for a nap. She loves being held, enjoys affection, and is already showing how smart and eager to learn she is. She’s curious about the world around her, gentle with her toys, and quickly picking up new skills. Patricia currently sleeps in a kennel at night, is piddle-pad trained, and is making great progress with both crate and potty training. She gets along wonderfully with children, cats, and dogs of all sizes, making her a fantastic addition to many different types of families. If you're looking for a loving, affectionate companion with a sweet heart and a bright future, Patricia may be the perfect match for you! Interested in adopting Patricia? Send us a message for more information.! She has had 2 vet visits, is spayed, Microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations, had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), 2 dewormings, and a 1 fecal test. Story
Born in late March 2025, this adorable one year-old pug/chihuahua mix is already winning hearts with his cuddly charm and gentle nature. His story began when his loving mama was rescued from a shelter while pregnant — now this little guy is ready to write his next chapter: a forever home. Rick is sweet, calm, and affectionate—great with gentle kids and other small, friendly dogs. He’s still learning the ropes (house training and manners are in progress!), but he’s a bright little boy who loves to please and be close to his people. Fully vetted, neutered, and current on all his vaccines, Rick is happy, healthy, and ready to be your loyal companion. His adoption fee is $480. If you’re looking for a furry friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin — Rick is your "Together Forever" kind of pup. Story
Graham is a charming 3-year-old Pug mix weighing 16 pounds who is ready to bring fun, laughter, and plenty of personality to his forever home! Having recently arrived from a county shelter, this happy little guy is excited to start his next chapter with a family of his own.Graham is an active, playful pup who absolutely loves toys—especially squeaky ones! He can happily entertain himself with a toy but would much rather have a person join in on the fun. When playtime gets especially exciting, Graham can get a little carried away and may become mouthy, though he does so gently and without pressure. Like many enthusiastic young dogs, he's still learning how to channel all that excitement appropriately. This busy boy enjoys staying engaged and would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of playtime, exercise, and enrichment. He may need a refresher on housetraining, so a consistent schedule and routine will help set him up for success. When meeting other dogs, Graham can be a bit cautious at first, preferring to take his time before deciding if he'd like to make a new friend. If you're looking for a playful, entertaining companion with a big personality packed into a small package, Graham may be the perfect fit. Come meet this lovable little guy and see if he's the missing piece of your family! To get started in the process of meeting Graham, please visit https://azfriends.org/testing/adopt.html to complete an adoption consultation form, and then come by the Adoption Center to meet with one of our adoption counselors. No appointments are necessary and you can come and see us any time we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our dogs or cats to fill out a consultation form – this form helps us determine if the dog/cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo, without knowing the personality of the animal. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).
