Rufus is a gentle, affectionate senior Boston Terrier looking for a warm, caring home. His loving owner, who has cherished him for years, is sadly no longer able to care for him due to dementia. Now, Rufus needs someone kind to give him the same love and comfort he’s always given in return. He’s calm, well-mannered, and enjoys the simple things — a soft bed, short walks, and time by your side. Rufus gets along well with people and other pets, and he still has plenty of heart and personality to share. If you’re ready to open your heart to a loyal companion who just wants to spend his golden years surrounded by love, Rufus would be endlessly grateful. ❤️

Story
We are Frankie’s second family. She was originally brought home from a breeder in Tennessee to a multi English Bulldog family. She had aggressive tendencies with the other female dog and her previous owner put her on Facebook to Rehome. Since she’s been with us, we haven’t seen any aggression or ‘alpha’ attitude from her. She is really good with kids, chickens and cats. The youngest (4) is able to take her for walks by himself without her pulling on the leash. I developed an allergy to dogs and as the main caretaker it’s been a challenge. I can’t seem to train her to get off the furniture and constantly cleaning after the hair and dander is affecting my health. She is really loves to snuggle and she needs to be with someone who appreciates that. She is about 7 or 8 years old and has maintained a healthy weight. She also has some allergies and sensitive skin and needs someone who can allocate time to help her. She’s really a sweet girl and hope she can find a forever home.
