Taco is available on a first come, first served basis. To meet this pet, please come to the shelter during adoption hours, fill out a survey with your information, and then you`ll meet with an adoption coordinator who will introduce you and walk you through the adoption process.

Ember is a sweet Boston Terrier/Pug mix born on 09/21/2021 who is ready to start her next chapter. At just under five years old, Ember is the perfect blend of playful and mature, with plenty of energy for fun while also being past the puppy stage. Ember and Evie came into rescue together and have a sisterly bond.  Due to this bond, they must be adopted together. Ember is a healthy, agile girl who loves toys and playtime. She can be a little timid when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly once she feels comfortable. Ember is also crate trained and settles in well to a routine.   As Ember continues settling into foster care, we’ll keep updating her profile as we learn more about her personality, preferences, and all the little things that make her special.     The suggested adoption fee for Ember  is $475 Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. I came from a hoarding situation so there isn’t a lot of information about my former life Who is your main caretaker/favorite person now? My foster mom takes real good care of me but I think I like my foster dad best Are you good with kids? What age ranges? I love to play with the resident 5 year old Are you good with other dogs? I have had no issues with my foster sister other than who should be the one getting all of the attention. We can play together, sleep together, walk together, etc. Are you good with cats? Nope, I always try to chase them and not sure what I would do if I caught one. Are you housebroken? What is your current potty routine? I can sleep all night and during the day in my kennel without any accidents. I like to spend time in the fenced backyard checking for spots to go, but I have marked a couple of times in the house when introduced to new areas. I am still learning each day. Do you like car rides? I have only been on one so far but it made me pretty nervous Do you like walks? How are you on a leash? I won’t be winning any marathons, but I love a good short walk. Slow and steady pace with zero pulling at all. Do you like toys? What is your favorite toy? I have sniffed a few different kinds of toys but not really sure what I’m supposed to do with them. Do you know any commands/tricks? I am learning to come to my name and the word no, I am VERY food motivated. How are your house manners? I am very sweet and polite, but I am interested in what you are eating and if I can have some. I like to follow everyone everywhere so I have some trouble just laying down and relaxing if my people are moving around in the house Describe your personality-I am a very sweet boy who loves being around my people. I love a good rub down and will paw at you to let you know that you are not done yet. I want to learn and make you happy. Describe your perfect home-No cats or other small animals that I could chase. I am okay by myself or with another dog, small or big. I don’t make a lot of noise so I would be a good apartment dog, I also don’t need a whole lot of exercise as I prefer to just stay home with my people.

Charlotte is a 3 year old pure bred English Bulldog.  She loves people after she has a little time to warm up to them.  She loves to cuddle and give kisses.  Charlotte is very smart and picks up on things and routine very quickly.  She needs a quieter home where she can truly be the best version of herself. Charlotte is housebroken, leash trained, and crate trained.  She knows a few commands (sit, down, come, heel).  She also is working on stay and "go to".  Training is onging for Charlotte and she's making progress.  The PERFECT Home for Charlotte Would probably be best as the only dog Would love to have a lap to sit on and someone to snuggle with Prefers women Someone who will help her work through her anxiety Fenced yard would be ideal Older kids (age 12+) Charlotte does live with other dogs right now, but she tends to become very excited and reactive to them at times.  She has her own space in a room away from others where she can relax and by herself.  She also would rather not share her toys. He is the definition of a cuddler — happiest when he’s pressed against you, snoring like a freight train, soaking up every bit of affection he can get. Church is house trained, dog friendly, cat friendly, stranger friendly, and great with kids 6+. He knows sit and lay down, especially when treats are involved. Outside, he’s active and playful; inside, he’s a lazy, affectionate couch companion. He loves playfighting, loves other dogs (even if he sometimes gets a little too excited), and he always feels bad right away if he misreads the moment.
