Story
🩷 Meet Junia! 🩷 8.5 months old | 13 lbs | Pug Mix House Trained | Crate Trained | Good with Dogs & Cats Junia is a sweet, playful little pup who wins everyone over with her adorable underbite — people often say she looks like a mini boxer! At home, she’s a curious companion who loves to follow her person from room to room, making sure she’s part of whatever’s going on. Once Junia feels comfortable, she turns into a total cuddlebug! She gives gentle kisses, loves sitting in laps, and adores morning snuggles on the bed. She’s also become an excellent walking buddy — walks are one of her favorite activities, and she trots along proudly beside you. Because she was under-socialized before rescue, Junia can still startle easily and may bark at strangers or new situations. She isn’t fearful — she just needs a bit of patience and reassurance to build trust. Once she does, her silly, affectionate personality shines through. Junia gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and does great with cats too! She enjoys playing chase and wrestling with her big dog friends, and even engages with her foster’s playful cat (but wisely gives space to the grumpy one). When no one’s up for playtime, she happily entertains herself with toys or zooms around before curling up for a long nap. Junia would thrive in a loving home with another friendly dog or a patient adopter who can help her continue to build confidence. She’s the perfect blend of sweet, silly, and snuggly — a wonderful companion ready to bring joy to her forever family! 🐾 Adopt Junia today and let this little pug mix steal your heart! *Not available for transport out of state. Must be adopted locally to the San Antonio, TX area.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Bandit, a handsome young pug with an adventurous streak and a heart full of love! Born around May 14, 2024, this sweet 18.4-pound boy was found exploring a local subdivision, charming multiple neighbors along the way. While everyone wanted to help the little runaway, Bandit proved himself to be quite the escape artist, cleverly digging out of various yards in his determined quest to find the action! Bandit is a true social butterfly. His main goal in life is to be right where the people are. When he gets loose, he doesn't run away; he rushes towards companionship! He is looking for a secure yard and a family who will give him plenty of attention and keep him close by, satisfying his deep desire to be part of the pack. Bandit has been fully vetted and is now receiving treatment for anaplasmosis, a common tick-borne disease discovered during his initial exam. He is doing great and just needs to complete his 30-day course of medication. He's on the mend and ready for his fresh start. This resilient, people-loving pug is eager to trade his days of solo adventures for a lifetime of cozy cuddles and family fun. If you’re looking for a loyal, friendly companion who promises to keep you entertained and loved, Bandit is eagerly waiting to steal your heart! Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.PUDDIN' and her mother PEACHES are 2 pugs that were dumped early one morning at a local car dealership.  Luckily there were some employees who are dog lovers and took them in for a little while until I was able to pick them up. As usually we look for the flaws in a dog if it was intentionally dumped but very few times do we find any.  That certainly is the case with PUDDIN' & PEACHES, there is absolutely nothing wrong with them.  Each of them is very happy, PEACHES is the more social butterful and PUDDIN' is more reserved.  They love each other and love to be with each other although they do play and interact with the other foster dogs in the home. PUDDIN' is 9 months old and 14 pounds.  PEACHES is 3 years old and 13 pounds.  They both like to cuddle and get head rubs but PUDDIN' lays on her back to get a belly rub.  PUDDIN' is also the one with the slight underbite that makes her look just that more special. PEACHES & PUDDIN' do not need to be adopted together but they would be very happy dogs to have another dog in the home to play and cuddle with. They already walk well on a leash and ride in the car without getting sick.  And on the plus side they are not yeppers, no barking or whining, just running around playing and kind of submissive.  I would love for them to be adopted together but to separate them there would have to be another playful dog already in the home that is interested in one of them.  Neither of them would do well as an only dog. Their activity level is normal, nothing hyper but they do love to run around the backyard playing with each other and toys. If you are interested in adopting PEACHES and/or PUDDIN', please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you for your interest. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         August 21, 2025, 10:07 am
