Story
Hi my name is Murphy.  My foster mom Rachel added the marvelous because that is exactly what I am.  I am 2 years old and I weigh 37 lbs. Rachel first met me as a little puppy adopted by one of her friends.  My mom soon decided that she did not want me.  This began a period of bouncing around for me and unfortunately I ended up in the local shelter.  Rachel happened to be on their Facebook page and was so upset to see a familiar face.  She immediately called Critter Cavalry and I am now safe and sound with her under their care.  I am so relieved to have a familiar face to look to for guidance.  I truly am a marvelous boy.  Despite all the bouncing around I am an even keal kinda guy.  I love people and am great with the two bigger and older resident dogs.  I also love my 3 year old human foster brother.  I let him pet and hug on me and patiently accept his affection.  I am not a licky dog.  I stand or sit there and enjoy the attention.  I soak up all the human attention I can get.  I am housebroken, ride well in the car and walk well on a leash.  I am learning some commands.  My foster dad is currently working on sit.  As soon as I get that I will learn more.  I am very food motivated and love all the treats that come with training.  I am not learning too fast on purpose!!!  But I promise to give in soon.  I enjoy the one on one attention when he is teaching me things.  According to Rachel and my original mom I am a Boston Terrier/Beagle mix.  Don't see it well neither does Miss Vivienne so who knows?!  What is most important is that I am sweet, smart and will be an EXCELLENT family dog.  I am working on my crate training.  That is going a bit slowly as I am not a fan and am a bit scared in the crate.  I definitely do not like being in there when I am alone but know I need to learn.  What is important is that I am willing to learn and am a sweet boy.  If you are looking for a great family dog then you have found him.  I have been neutered, am current on all my shots, heartworm negative, microchipped and on preventative.  To be considered for my forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Murphy is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)       To be considered for Murphy's forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Murphy is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)October 5, 2024, 11:55 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Delilah is a beautiful girl who has been approximated at 6 years old. She is 27 pounds and full of life. After her breeder owner passed away, Delilah has embraced life as a pet . She loves to play and gets along well with other dogs. Delilah would love a fenced yard to run around in. She is crate trained and is working on her house training. She arrived with a skin infection (which is cleared up now) requiring steroids that delayed her progress. She is very food motivated, smart, and eager to please. Delilah is located in Boiling Springs, SC and is up to date on vetting, including spay. She ended up in a shelter and in a foster home with dogs she didn’t get along with, and she appears to have been mistreated by humans . Since coming to BTBR, she’s been hanging out with her foster mom and learning that people aren’t always scary, but she can still be very fearful. Because of Miss Bella’s past, she needs a quiet, adult-only home, with no other pets and a fenced yard. Though she will not be the neighborhood social butterfly, she would love to be your world. She loves snuggles on the couch, chewing on toys, and sunbathing. She is house trained, spayed, and up to date on all vetting. Miss Bella is currently in Aiken, SC.
