Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Introducing Vintage Reds-Rose. This little chi/pug mix girl was born at DASH when her mom, Sassy, came to the rescue very heavily pregnant. Rose and her siblings were born via C-Section shortly after. Since being with her foster mom, she is thriving and is a typical puppy. She is still very young, so she hasn't started learning many of her puppy manners, so her new family will need to be ready and willing to work with her on that journey to being the best puppy ever. She has been around her siblings and other small dogs in her foster home, but has not been cat or kid tested. Due to her smaller size, very young rambunctious children may not be the best fit, but older respectful kids should be fine. She is ready for deposits until she is old enough to be spayed. NorbertMaleAge: 6 yearsWeight: 30 lbsBreed: Beagle Pug MixTrial Adoption Eligible Hi! I’m Norbert. I am a loving, friendly and happy guy who gets along with other dogs, but not so much cats as I like to chase them. Children have been a stressor for me in the past, so a home without children would be best for me. I am house trained and crate trained too. My favorite treats are freeze dried tripe from that Hollywood Feed Store and I have a Moose stuffed toy I enjoy. In my daily life, I like to lounge on the couch, explore the yard and take walks. I can be an escape artist, so supervised playtime in the yard is a good idea. My foster mom says I am pretty quiet for a beagle. I am gentle and polite with all my doggy friends and I really love to cuddle with my humans. I cannot wait to find a family all my own who will provide me all the love and attention I deserve! To help me find the perfect match, I’m eligible for Cause for Canines’ Trial Adoption Program! This gives approved adopters a chance to get to know me in their home before making things official. You must be an approved adopter to participate. If you are interested in meeting Norbert, apply to adopt at: www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $350 Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Home without Children.  ##1566915##

Story
Meet KEATS, a happy-go-lucky Beagle mix looking for a home. He is the sweetest boy, always so happy to meet new friends, play and cuddle. Keats is about 4 years old and fully grown at 23 pounds. We believe he's a puggle-type mix, probably more beagle than pug but he has those adorable flippy puggle ears. Keats walks well on a leash, is a perfect passenger in the car and appears to be housebroken. Unfortunately Keats was bitten by the wrong mosquito and has tested positive for heartworms. PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOGS ON HEARTWORM PREVENTION!! It's not a severe case and he will be undergoing treatment with our vet. He's fine to go to a home and poses no threat to the health of animals or people. He does need to go to a greater Cincinnati-area home in order to accommodate his treatment which will be paid for by the rescue. Keats is fine with other dogs and loves everyone he meets. If you'd like to meet Keats, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Keats at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at Petsmart Eastgate.  Keats will go to an adoptive home on an extended trial adoption basis, his adoption will be finalized after he completes his treatment. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 7, 2026, 10:08 pm
