Story
Hi! I'm Piper, a young pug with a heart full of joy. My days are filled with playful antics and goofy grins. I love to tumble around with my toys and am always up for a good game of fetch. When I'm not playing, I'm the best cuddle buddy, always ready to snuggle up and share some warmth. I dream of a forever home where I can share all my love and happiness. If you're looking for a loyal friend to bring laughter and affection into your life, I'm the perfect pup for you! I'm 8 months old, spayed, currently weigh around 16lbs, current on vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, heartworm tested negative, on heartworm prevention and microchipped, my adoption donation is $350. If you would be interested in adopting please visit us at 4 Commercial Ave Washington Court House Ohio. Our hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 2pm.These are abandoned street animals or unplanned litters, some of older age, and many with a shy temperament. Their prior history is sometimes unknown. We make every effort to check the basic health and personality of each animal.CAT:Every adoptable cat is currently vaccinated (FVRCPP), vaccinated for rabies (if 12 weeks or older), spayed/neutered, treated for worms, treated for fleas, micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).DOG:Each adoptable dog/puppy is currently vaccinated (DHPP), vaccinated for rabies (if older than 16 weeks), treated for worms, treated for fleas, spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm (if over 6 months of age), micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).Upon adoption you will be given a health record to take to your veterinarian. Adoption fees are typically $100.00 for kittens, $50 for cats and $300 for dogs/puppies unless otherwise stated. We accept cash or debit/ credit card only! These fees are subject to fluctuation, if deemed necessary, depending on season, amount of adoptable animals in our program, and/or breed of animal. The adoption fees help us recover a small portion of the money that we spend on these animals. Thank you so much for your interest in a shelter pet!!!

Story
Ursula is a 3-year-old Puggle (Pug/Beagle mix) who weighs 25lbs. She is energetic and playful so she will thrive in an active home where she can burn off her energy before settling in for the night. She likes to jump so a standard size fence is a must.   Ursula is smart. She has already mastered sit, paw, down, and she’ll even wait for her dinner. Because she’s a clever girl with a typical Beagle stubborn streak, she would love a family that continues her training. It’s a great way to bond with her!   Ursula is a lap dog and she likes to cuddle in her humans bed. She is not a fan of the crate. She needs a home where someone is around most of the time.   She can be a little shy at first with new people but treats will win her over.   If you have a secure yard, a cozy bed to share, and plenty of time for love and training, Ursula is ready to start her next adventure with you! Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start May 27, 2026, 9:17 am

Story
Molly is a young female who was found as a stray with her pregnant sister. She looks like a pug mix, maybe with a boxer. But that is a guess based on her good looks!!Molly can be shy when she first meets new people. She was very skiddish when she first arrived in her foster home and she took a few days to warm up. She is still nervous in new situations and can still be spooked by loud noises. However, once she is comfortable, she reveals her true playful, and silly personality!! Molly is crate trained but doesnt need to be crated other than for her comfort and security. Molly is potty trained. She is very playful and loves zoomies. Molly is not cat tested. Molly adores her sister and her sister's babies. We are gradually introducing her to other dogs.We do not recommend Molly for a house with young children because she would likely be very nervous around young playful kiddos. Molly will need a fenced yard or will need to be kept leashed outside at all times. The adoption fee for Molly is $250 and includes two sets of shots, spay surgery and microchip at our partner veterinarian.Apply to meet this sweet girl at www.ricopetrecovery.org.
