I’m potty trained, smart, and love being active and around people. I have a strong Beagle nose and enjoy exploring, so a secure 6‑foot fenced yard would be best to keep me safe. I’m very food‑motivated (all food counts!), which makes training easy and fun. Keep treats handy, and I’ll learn quickly and keep you smiling.In addition to being current on all vaccinations, Nemo has also been given a preventative for heartworms and fleas/ticks that is good until the end of Dec 2026.  New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. Meet Nemo! He’s a 1‑year‑old, 30 lb puggle‑type beagle mix looking for an active home. Nemo is friendly, energetic, loves toys, and does great with kids and other dogs. He’s house trained, crate trained, and knows “sit.” We’ve learned he needs more mental and physical exercise than our busy household can give. He’s also an athletic jumper and can clear our 4.5 ft fence, and we live on a busy road, so safety is a concern. Nemo would thrive with a taller fenced yard or an owner committed to regular leashed walks and enrichment. He’s a sweet, smart boy ready for his perfect match!

Jonquil was left or dumped at Walmart. We have tried to find something wrong with him and have come to the conclusion that it was the owners who must have had something wrong with them. This guy is the sweetest, goofy, googley eyed boy. Our best guess is some bulldog and boston terrier. He is about 4ish. We are all in love with him, from his chunky little butt to his folded ears, and nicknamed him moo cow.**Please fill out an application found on our website under "adopt a pet" and send it in to start adoption process.**All Dog Adoption Fee's are $175 Cats are $100Includes initial Vaccinations, De-Worming, Flea Meds, Heartworm Testing, & Spay/Neuter
