When tragedy strikes, it usually affects our pet friends hardest and when friends or family cannot help pets left behind, they reach out to organizations such as SimcoeDHumane to help. Woody and his brother Hansel are older boys looking for a fun, loving, and energetic home. Woody loves going for walks and leads with his nose. Sometimes he gets ahead of himself and pulls but not strongly. Woody curls right into you when cuddling on the couch or in bed, he makes for a great nap partner. Hansel and his brother Woody are a bonded pair, they don`t like to be separated. The adoption fee is $600 for the pair. Complete medical included neuter, vaccinations, microchip, flea treatment, dewormer, and 4DX test.

Story
Hanson is a very sweet, but shy & anxious, 6-year-old 11 lb little Pug/Chihuahua. His owners dumped him on the street, where he was picked up by Animal Control. He was traumatized & had lost all trust in the people he thought would care for him. He'd dart away from people & cower on the floor. He now is healthy, neutered, vaccinated, Rabies, DHPP & Bordetella, dewormed, house-trained, & on flea & tick prevention. He enjoys his daily walks & exploring & romping in the backyard with other mature small dogs. He is not a fan of young children, large breed dogs, or young rambunctious dogs I built trust with him & he became my sidekick, following me everywhere. He would love a furever home with an active senior person or couple who live in a quiet home & have a fenced backyard.
