Basement Puppies - Cinnamon Hello There! I am one of 5 puppies who were born under a house to a little 13 pound chihuahua looking mama dog. It wasn’t really in a basement but it was a shelter from the cold and wind. Anyhow, mom was a wild child so we came to the rescue to learn to love people and have a home so we don’t have to walk on the wild side. Some of us look like perhaps mom or even dad had some pug in them, as we have some of the coloring or the shorter mugs of a pug. But all of us are 100% adorable! Personally, I have the pug look and I like not looking like my siblings. Aren’t I a cutie? I am Cinnamon and one of the girl puppies in the litter. I am sweet and love to play and do things that 8 week old puppies love to do. I was born about November 1 and that is my official “guesstimate” birthday. So we can celebrate my birthday then and any other day you want to pick for my birthday too. I am not fussy! I will most likely be small, maybe 15 to 20 pounds-ish, depending on how big dad was but, we are on track to be that size as I am only 3.1 pounds now at 8 weeks. I get my baby making bits removed on January 5, 2026 and then will be able to go to my forever home. Will that be with you? Local Adoption fee in Texas is $350 Out of state adoption fee with transport and fuel surcharge is $600.

Basement Babies - Coal Did you know that November 1st is a holiday? It is because it is my birthday and we will need to celebrate it every year!! I am one of 5 puppies who were born under a house to a little 13 pound chihuahua looking mama dog. It wasn’t really in a basement but it was a shelter from the cold and wind. She needed emergency to save her life. She survived, and then had to go though heartworm treatment! She’s finally healthy and ready for her family! Baddie enjoys hiking and playing in the mud, although she can’t last long on hikes. She loves toys and playing tug of war. She lives with a lot of dogs, but can be bossy at times. She rides well in the car. Her favorite thing is affection and she will roll over for a belly rub any chance she gets.

Saltine is a little lover- he loves to cuddle! He sleeps in bed every night and is right up against his foster mom. He gets along well with the resident dogs and likes to ride in the car. He is food obsessed. He most likely was not fed regularly, and he inhales food. A slow feeder bowl is a must. He will also push resident dogs right out of their bowls and inhale their food- so he will need to bed fed separately from other pets and have their food kept away. A home that “free feeds” current pets will not work for Saltine. He is house trained, but he does “leg lift” in the home on occasion. Due to have such pronounced Bulldog legs, he is not going to be running partner, but would love a walk!
