Volunteers process the applications and need time above their personal needs and full-time jobs to process the apps.Please have patience. We do not have any paid staff members. Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours. Maggie is a female and is a shelter rescue pet that has been in my family for 5 years. She is approximately 6 years old and weighs 40 pounds. She is about 18 inches tall. She is a mutt and while I don’t know the exact breeds, it has been suggested that she may be part pug, beagle, chou and squishy pup. She is very soft and sweet. She has been e-Collar trained and been to private training and I have worked with her. She is a good girl, healthy, spayed, and up to date on her shots. She is a good girl and obeys the commands she knows. Maggie can be reactive which is why she is best suited for a quiet home without pets or small children. She is affectionate without being needy. She does not shed a lot compared to some dogs. She needs a non-chaotic environment, and needs someone who can supply love, patience, and help her understand her boundaries. She likes to be near her people or in her spots. Maggie will be provided with all her food and supplies.
