Story
Meet Emma , Emma is a 4 lb sweet pug full of love and kisses. She may be tiny, but don’t let her size fool you. She will wrestle and then snuggle with any size pup, anywhere, anytime. Emma loves playing with toys but would truly rather play with your shoe laces or feet as a moving target is much more fun. If she starts spinning you know she needs to go outside to go potty. She is intrigued by the bell by the back door but looks at it more as another toy. While Emma plays hard, she just as quickly falls asleep in your arms or at your feet. She will be up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations and her spay is included in her adoption fee when she is old enough. If you interested in this spunky little lady, fill out an adoption application at www.tinypawssmalldogrescue.org. If you have any questions, reach out to her foster mom, Bonnie, at soderlundb@yahoo.com An adoption fee will be required. DATCP: # 274478

Story
One of the Canine Care staff members describes me as having the cutest smile and an adventurous spirit to match. How is that for an intro? I feel like I’m blushing a little…I enjoy exploring everything, running free like a bird in a play yard and making every day fun. I’m ready for my next adventure…with my family. Are you ready too? Since I tested positive for heartworm, I’m looking for a home that would foster me while I undergo the treatment (still paid for and coordinated through Save-A-Pet’s cooperating vets). Once I test negative, then we could formalize my status as family member to “adopted.”

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info!   ***I am able to go home to my forever family right from transport!! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on September 10th and arrive on September 11th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 8/9/26 Dog Name: Tug Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Pug Mix Approximate Age: 3 Years Old Approximate Weight: 12-15 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Neutered Adoption Fee: $650 Description: Tug is a gem, he is so friendly and listens so well and just loves being around people! He is kid friendly and gets along well with other dogs. He is so sweet loves to be loved on, he is great on a harness and is potty trained! He is going to be a pug lovers dream!  We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. August 28, 2026, 2:54 pm
