Fawn is a Pug-Poo Doxie Mix. She is approximately 10 weeks old. She is a cute lil bundle of joy only weighing about 5 pounds. She may be tiny but she is fiesty and loves to play. She has had her DHPP, dewormer, flea treatment and CVI. Fawn currently is not house broken or crate trained. She is in a foster home with the rest of the litter. Both parents are under 20 pounds. I am sure once you put some time and training into her she will be a great addition to the family. Fawn is located in Rockford, IL. This is what Tommy’s foster had to say about this lovely boy: “Tommy may have some white hairs, but his heart is pure gold and he’s got a new lease on life! He may move a little slower thanks to a leg injury, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying the simple pleasures—a soft spot on the couch and all the cuddles you can give him. He needs a lift getting up and down, but he’s 100% worth it 🩵 Tommy is the perfect house guest—no accidents, great with routines, and totally chill indoors. But be warned: if there’s a cat litter box in sight, he’ll be in it if you aren’t watching 😅You’ll only hear a bark when he needs to go out earlier than his regularly scheduled potty break. He’s not a fan of stairs, but we’ve got him set up with a ramp, and he’s doing great with it. He loves a car ride, but needs help getting in and out. When it comes to food, Tommy’s a bit of a picky piggy 🐷 Purina Pro Plan beef & rice dry food paired with beef & veggies wet food is his go-to. It’s easy to sneak his daily pill (for his leg pain) into his food. He's friendly with other dogs and cats and is the perfect companion for anyone looking for an easy-going, lovable dog. While he’s not always in the mood for playtime, he does still get zoomies, like to play with his mini tennis ball, and enjoys a good sniff around outside. Sam is a sweet pug looking for an experienced patient family that speaks 'dog'. Sam is a breeder release from a commercial facility. He hasn't had the benefit a dog his age might have who was born in a home. That being said, while he is scared and timid, once he feels safe he is longing to bond with a family. He will likely always be timid. He needs family who will help him slowly decompress and adjust in his own time. Sam s a friendly gentle guy He needs a fenced in yard for his potty place. He doesn't understand leash walking. Pugs tend to be Velcro dogs. They want to be close to a human, Sam is friendly, wags his tail and then retreats, He wants to be cared for, He needs to relax enough to know he can move forward without fear, He needs a patient adopter without expectations he will change but will give him the time to allow him to if he chooses, Like all dogs, he will need structure and a patient, loving home. We recommend training for all dogs, not only to give Sam important learning skills, but because you and your dog will create a stronger bond just by going through the training together. Sam is fully vetted. She has been neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of his adopter. His adoption fee is $800..00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so Sam wants to be sure his family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 12 MONTHS): You must have a flexible work schedule or someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy is not for you. We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits.
