Meet Dax! 🐾 Dax is one of the sweetest, most easygoing dogs you’ll ever meet! He’s a happy-go-lucky boy who loves to cuddle, play, and be near his people. Dax is potty-trained, crate-trained, and walks great on a leash. He rarely barks, doesn’t whine, and knows his basic commands. He’s smart, gentle, and eager to please — the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal, loving friend. Dax’s story is heartbreaking but inspiring. He was found tied to a fence in 100+ degree heat after being abandoned by a breeder who couldn’t sell him. Thankfully, San Bernardino Animal Control rescued him, and our group saved him just before he was scheduled to be euthanized. Despite everything he’s been through, Dax remains incredibly sweet, friendly, and trusting. Dax is about 1 year and 2 months old, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick treatments. He’s healthy, happy, and ready to find his forever home! Meet Rocco! 🐾 Rocco is a 3-year-old, 15-pound Puggle with a heart as big as his playful energy. While he may seem a little cautious at first, once he feels comfortable, he reveals his happy-go-lucky personality. Think of him as a tough guy on the outside but a total teddy bear on the inside! Rocco has been thriving in his foster home, where he’s been learning important “petiquette” and working on commands like sit, stay, come, and loose-leash walking. He’s also crate-trained and enjoys having a cozy spot to call his own. Sometimes his excitement and impulses get the best of him, but he’s making great progress with positive reinforcement training and would benefit from continuing this in his forever home. Rocco loves to play and has shown potential to excel in small dog agility with the right training. Whether it’s entertaining you with his antics or curling up on the couch for a snuggle, he’s happy to do it all. He does well with other dogs he's been properly introduced to and would love a buddy who matches his rough-and-tumble energy while also setting a good example for him. However, he can also thrive as an only dog if he has plenty of engagement and companionship. Given his size, age, and personality, Rocco would do best in a home with mature or older children. He enjoys taking his time to approach new situations and thrives with a routine that helps him feel secure. Story
Ziggy will be 3 years old in March. He is a special pet who loves one on one attention with me and my husband but he does not get along with other dogs. He needs to be in an only dog home. He has been around cats and does well with them. He has not been around very many children but gets uncomfortable around new people. He has been boarded several times and the staff have said he does very well with them. He has high energy and loves to play ball, fetch, and tug of war. He will let you rub his belly for hours. He is a great listener and does perfect off of the leash. He is needing a new home because he does not get along with our other dogs and I have been having health problems and I am unable to give him the time and skilled training he needs.
