Meet Dax! 🐾 Dax is one of the sweetest, most easygoing dogs you’ll ever meet! He’s a happy-go-lucky boy who loves to cuddle, play, and be near his people. Dax is potty-trained, crate-trained, and walks great on a leash. He rarely barks, doesn’t whine, and knows his basic commands. He’s smart, gentle, and eager to please — the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal, loving friend. Dax’s story is heartbreaking but inspiring. He was found tied to a fence in 100+ degree heat after being abandoned by a breeder who couldn’t sell him. Thankfully, San Bernardino Animal Control rescued him, and our group saved him just before he was scheduled to be euthanized. Despite everything he’s been through, Dax remains incredibly sweet, friendly, and trusting. Dax is about 1 year and 2 months old, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick treatments. He’s healthy, happy, and ready to find his forever home! Meet Rocco! 🐾 Rocco is a 3-year-old, 15-pound Puggle with a heart as big as his playful energy. While he may seem a little cautious at first, once he feels comfortable, he reveals his happy-go-lucky personality. Think of him as a tough guy on the outside but a total teddy bear on the inside! Rocco has been thriving in his foster home, where he’s been learning important “petiquette” and working on commands like sit, stay, come, and loose-leash walking. He’s also crate-trained and enjoys having a cozy spot to call his own. Sometimes his excitement and impulses get the best of him, but he’s making great progress with positive reinforcement training and would benefit from continuing this in his forever home. Rocco loves to play and has shown potential to excel in small dog agility with the right training. Whether it’s entertaining you with his antics or curling up on the couch for a snuggle, he’s happy to do it all. He does well with other dogs he's been properly introduced to and would love a buddy who matches his rough-and-tumble energy while also setting a good example for him. However, he can also thrive as an only dog if he has plenty of engagement and companionship. Given his size, age, and personality, Rocco would do best in a home with mature or older children. He enjoys taking his time to approach new situations and thrives with a routine that helps him feel secure. Meet Dax! 🐾 Just look at that face! Dax has a big, happy smile, bright expressive eyes, and the cutest little eyebrows that give him a slightly goofy and very lovable look. He is one of the sweetest, most easygoing dogs you will ever meet. He wakes up every day with his tail wagging, ready for cuddles or simply being by your side. Dax has an easy, joyful energy that makes him a pleasure to be around. He is the perfect blend of playful and mellow. He is always up for a walk or an adventure, but he is just as happy to nap quietly at your feet. Dax is potty trained, crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, rarely barks, and does not chew. He knows his basic commands and genuinely tries to make his person happy. He is good with people of all ages, including children, and he gets along well with dogs and cats. He truly does not have a mean bone in his body. Dax’s past is sad, but he has come such a long way. He was found tied to a fence in over 100-degree heat after being abandoned by a breeder. Animal Control eventually picked him up after who knows how many days out there alone. Our rescue group pulled him from the San Bernardino shelter just before he was scheduled to be euthanized. Despite everything he has been through, he remains incredibly sweet, trusting, and full of love. Dax is a Puggle, about 1 year and 2 months old, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick treatments. He is healthy, happy, and ready for a forever home. Sweet Zucchini has come a very long ways since his shelter days when he found him self to be euthanized because he was scared. Despite his fear we knew we could turn this cutie pie around and get him to trust but also crave interaction with people. Zucchini is aprox 9 lbs 3-5 years neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Zucchini in new environments may need a little warm up time, but the cutest thing he does, is tilt his head down like a parrot for head and ear scratches. He has learned to walk on a leash and now has discovered how much fun going to the park and exploring is. Zucchini best play buddy is Snap who also almost lost her life at the shelter for being scared! These two would do great as a pair and play so very well together too.
