Story
Have you heard the phrase, a face only a mother could love? Well, let us introduce you to the inspiration for it. Meet Guppy! This little guy may not have won the genetics lottery, but what he lacks in looks he makes up for in charm. He could be a pug mix, he could not be. Perhaps bulldog? Only a DNA test will reveal the truth. Do we really know his age? Could he be 2 or 7, who is to say? He was born without his right eye, has a uniquely shaped head, a major underbite, and an endearing wobbly walk. He came to us from the California Central Valley with a few other pugs after his owner went into a nursing home without a care plan. Guppy is looking for a home where he can chew on toys, lounge the day away, and follow his person like a shadow. Hes crate-trained, and while hes still working on potty training, a consistent routine will help him get back on track after being shuffled around these last few weeks. He's good with confident cats and dogs of all sizes, but we suspect he would be happy as an only-dog, too. If youre searching for a quirky, one-of-a-kind companion, Guppy just might be the pug for you! He's being fostered in Rohnert Park through The Pug Hotel.

Story
Meet Laverne; a tiny bundle of love with a big personality! Laverne is an adorable Pug and Brussels Griffon mix weighing just 6.6 pounds. At 6 months old, shes already pretty much full grown, making her the perfect petite companion to take anywhere. She came in with her sister Shirley as an owner surrender as part of an accidental litter. This sweet girl is a certified lap lover; cuddling is her absolute favorite pastime! If youre looking for a snuggle buddy to keep you warm and shower you with affection, Laverne is your girl. She thrives on being close to her people and is happiest when shes curled up right by your side. Laverne is also making great progress with her potty training and is eager to keep learning. She has a playful, puppy side too and enjoys chewing on her favorite toys and exploring the world around her. Her fun, spunky personality is balanced beautifully with her gentle, loving nature. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys people of all ages, making her a fantastic addition to many types of homes. Whether its playtime with furry friends or cuddle time on the couch, Laverne is ready to bring joy, laughter, and lots of love to her forever family. She's getting spayed in late February and will have her second round of puppy shots and a microchip.

Story
Meet Amore! We estimate this beautiful girl to be just under 2 years old. While she is young and active, Amore is still a bit timid and learning how to fully embrace life as a pampered pug. She came to us from Californias Central Valley alongside another pug we believe to be her sister, Esme (coming soon). Based on our observations, Amore was likely kept primarily outdoors, which means potty training and cozy nights on a soft bed are all new experiences for her. Amore is shy but curious. Once she feels comfortable, she will happily trot over and curl into your arms. She truly melts when being held and loves gentle cuddles. She is doing well with other dogs and cats, though she has not begun engaging in play yet. Because she is eager to please, we are confident that with patience, consistency, and love in her forever home, she will continue to grow in both her training and socialization. In true pug fashion, Amore wants to be underfoot during the day and snuggled close at night, ideally sleeping by your head. She is perfectly content lounging at your feet with a favorite bone and especially adores children, getting adorably wiggly when they sit on the floor with her. Amore is scheduled to be spayed on Tuesday, February 17, and will also be vaccinated and microchipped.
