Have you heard the phrase, a face only a mother could love? Well, let us introduce you to the inspiration for it. Meet Guppy! This little guy may not have won the genetics lottery, but what he lacks in looks he makes up for in charm. He could be a pug mix, he could not be. Perhaps bulldog? Only a DNA test will reveal the truth. Do we really know his age? Could he be 2 or 7, who is to say? He was born without his right eye, has a uniquely shaped head, a major underbite, and an endearing wobbly walk. He came to us from the California Central Valley with a few other pugs after his owner went into a nursing home without a care plan. Guppy is looking for a home where he can chew on toys, lounge the day away, and follow his person like a shadow. Hes crate-trained, and while hes still working on potty training, a consistent routine will help him get back on track after being shuffled around these last few weeks. He's good with confident cats and dogs of all sizes, but we suspect he would be happy as an only-dog, too. If youre searching for a quirky, one-of-a-kind companion, Guppy just might be the pug for you! He's being fostered in Rohnert Park through The Pug Hotel.

Meet Kik! Dont let his size fool you. Just like his brother Mickey (also available), Kik is only 8 months old. Weighing in at 22 pounds, this big puppy is simply more dog to love. Kik is friendly, playful, and an all-around good boy. Hes crate trained and improving with potty training every day. He does wonderfully with kids, dogs of all sizes, and even cats. Playtime is one of his favorite things, especially when plush toys are involved, and his happy personality makes him a joy to have around. Kik came to rescue as an owner surrender along with his brother Mickey. Both boys have adjusted beautifully to their new environment and are soaking up all the love they can get. Kik is crate trained, social with dogs, cats, and kids, and comes neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready for his forever home.

Story
Iris is a playful, affectionate girl is the perfect mix of energy and snuggles. Shes crate-trained, still working on potty-training, and gets along great with her foster siblings... both pug and human kids alike. Iris is about a year old, weighs 20 pounds, and has a confident personality. She does well with male dogs or could thrive as the only pup in the home (many female pugs are like that!). She came to us through another rescuer from a home that had too many dogs and not enough resources. Her caregiver realized things had become overwhelming and wanted a safer, better life for her. Shes spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She's ready to find her forever family!
