Story
Meet Sheldon 🕺Sheldon is a 13yr old, 6lb, Chihuahua. You may say Sheldon is old, but you would never know, except he does sleep a lot. Sheldon loves his people, and believe it or not he loves to play. Sheldon is blind, but that doesn’t bother him and he learns his area quickly. Sheldon will lay on his back and loves to “wrestle”. Sheldon loves his belly rubbed,he gets so excited, it usually ends up being gentle wrestle play. Sheldon does sleep a lot, I call it power naps for his next play session. If you are looking for an older dog with still some play in him Sheldon is your guy. Sheldon loves to be held, and would make a great travel buddy since he really doesn’t care what’s going on around him as long as he is with his people. Sheldon is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date on his rabies vaccine.

Cash is a 6 year old male, 20 lbs, house trained sweet dog. I adopted Cash when he was 4 months from Hop Along Adoption. Due to severe allergies, I need to rehome Cash. He is good with other pets after his nerves settle, he is really playful and loves hugs. I have a small grand daughter and he is good with her, follows her around. NAME:Piper Pixie, SwiperSTATS:Female, Chihuahua, 12 years, 6 lbs.TEMPERAMENT:Shy at first and warms up.Shows fear of menShows fear of womenPiper is very calm, spends her time sleeping and wandering about. She is fearful of people and big dogs when on a walk.SKILLSPotty trained.Crate trained.Has not been exposed to children.Has not been exposed to cats.Piper enjoys a slow walk, smelling things and such. She has not met any kids, but shows fear of people when out on walks. She will warm up to people very slowly.MORE ABOUT ME:Couch cuddler.Likes walks.Piper has very few teeth and needs soft foodShe would be fine on her own or with another dogONE LAST THING:Piper is very mellow, sweet, and wants to eat and lounge. She likes to be petted, and then wander along. She loves to sleep under the covers, and loves a good daily walk (gets very excited when she knows she's going out :) she is older and not super playful, but has some spunk in her.August 31, 2025, 12:04 am

Story
NAME:BaronSTATS:Male, Chi/Spaniel mix, 7 years, 14 lbs.TEMPERAMENT:Shy at first, once he warms up; he loves his people. Baron does need a seasoned owner to work with issues (see below).SKILLSPotty Trained (but may mark until comfortable in new surroundings so suggest a belly band).Crate Trained.NO cats.No Children.Needs to be with another dog.Very treat motivated.MORE ABOUT ME:Likes belly rubs.Couch cuddler.Likes walks.Needs patient owner willing to work on behavior (see details below).Treat and clicker motivated. Needs work to gain confidence.ONE LAST THING:Baron is a special case. He had a traumatic (likely hit by car) trauma where he had not only lost an eye but had other injuries to his face and jaw. Although he is slowly getting used to living in this new way, he's also scared of strangers at first handling him so we need a seasoned owner for this beautiful little soul. Once he's comfortable, he will want to be with you and love you a lot. He's playful and can play tug with you. In a quiet environment, he will get comfortable and sleep on the couch and cuddle with you endlessly.Baron has been recorded with a bite. We know that the bite was due to the peron going over his head to pet him on the side where he couldn't see. Baron had already warned the person multiple times that he was not comfortable with them petting him and he actually allowed them to pet him for a few seconds a few times, but was telling them he needed space and then he finally bit which was just asking for space and out of fear. So again, we're looking for a seasoned owner willing to give this guy a chance to see life can be good.He has improved significantly, but still has some separation anxiety and guarding barking. The behavior has improved by distracting him with treats and using the 'clicker' for positive reinforcement.Baron needs a home that is patient with him, and in return he'll shower you with love. He will do best in a quiet environment where there are no children or cats.November 28, 2025, 12:09 am

Story
Meet Alexandria Egypt Alexandria Egypt—known to her friends as Alex—is an 8 lb, 5-year-old, spayed Chihuahua mix with movie-star looks and a heart full of devotion. Fostered in the San Francisco Bay Area, this tiny girl is ready to find her person…and then never leave their side. Alex is a beauty with a sensitive soul. When she’s unsure, she likes to cocoon herself in blankets until she feels safe. And once she does? Watch out—this girl is incredibly affectionate. Truly, you have not been loved until you’ve been loved by a Chihuahua, and Alex takes that role very seriously. Her happiest place is on a lap or curled up next to her person on the couch, soaking up all the closeness she can get. She enjoys her kibble, absolutely appreciates treats, and is very interested in anything her humans might be eating (sharing optional, but deeply encouraged in her opinion). Alex will potty outside and is continuing to learn that outside is the only acceptable option—she’s trying hard and making progress. Alex isn’t experienced on a leash yet, but she does love to chase a ball, showing off her playful side. At night, she sleeps soundly in her crate and wakes up thrilled to see her favorite person in the morning—those greetings alone are worth falling in love for. Alexandria Egypt is a sweet, snuggly, deeply loyal little companion who just needs a soft place to land and someone to adore. If you’re looking for a devoted lap dog with a gentle heart and a whole lot of love to give, Alex may be your perfect match.
