French Bulldogs are known to be prone to certain medical conditions, which may require ongoing veterinary care and can be costly over time. Common concerns may include allergies, orthopedic conditions, heart conditions, and other breed-related health issues. Adopters should be prepared for regular vet visits and the possibility of long-term medical management. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.
