You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Hello! I’m Tanbo (now named Snoop). I was adopted from Last Day Dog Rescue as a pup and now see myself back here due to family issues. I’m a very inquisitive pup and like to find my way into many things, but I’m learning that I’m not allowed to do so.  Anything to do with treats and I’ll be right there with you, but if you have your own food, I may sniff it. I really like to play with toys. As long as the toys are not stuffed, we won’t have a mess. I shred them within minutes, so harder chews would be best. I like to go for walks, I’m leash trained with slight pulling but I’m learning how not to do that. While we are out on our walks, I like to sniff everything I can because it’s all so interesting to me. After our long walks I like to curl up on the couch next to my humans and sleep. I enjoy being under the covers with them as well! When meeting new people, I do bark. Once I get to know them, I’m fine. I do get along with other dogs, I just bark a lot. However, I also resource guard my toys, so being an only dog may be best for me. I do chase cats, so I might not be the best with them. My current humans think I may have some separation anxiety, so for now I will have to be in a crate until I calm down and learn they will come back. I was just recently diagnosed with Cushing’s disease so I will be medicated for the rest of my life, but that doesn’t make me any different to love.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. December 5, 2025, 9:06 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Meet Gretel! Gretel is a hilarious, adorable, and endlessly entertaining 2-year-old pup who’s still figuring out grown-up dog life. She may look mature, but her puppy energy shines through in everything she does—she loves to zoom around, play, and happily shower anyone she trusts with hugs and kisses. Gretel is still mastering her house manners and would thrive with some consistent training. She uses potty pads in her foster home and is already making great progress. She gets along well with the other dogs in her house but won’t hesitate to stand up for herself—especially when provoked by her foster home’s feisty 5-pound yorkie! Gretel would love a playful canine companion but would also be perfectly content as the only dog in the home. While she can be shy or nervous in new situations, Gretel quickly warms up and becomes the life of the party. She loves squeaky toys, cozy naps on the couch beside her people, and of course—food. Gretel is small (15lbs) but exuberant and tends to jump when she’s excited, so a home without young children (under 6) would be best. She hasn’t been tested with cats. We’re not quite sure of her breed mix, but Gretel’s coat is soft, low-shedding, and doesn’t need regular trimming. She may take a little time to trust, but once she feels safe, you’ll discover her incredibly sweet, silly personality that brings joy every day.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Labatt is nicknamed “Blue” because of his beautiful blue eyes and it seems to fit him better. He likes to interact and be around people but can be shy with new people and cautious until he is comfortable. Then he enjoys being petted and cuddled. Blue likes to play, but doesn’t initiate, will follow the pack.Blue enjoys playing with squeaky toys and can occupy himself when needed. He is a loving, happy puppy. HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter. &#226&#128&#139Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.   Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 2, 2025, 7:02 am
